Season 171 Grind And 2025 HPUD Complete

The Dragon's Feast Event has also concluded, so our Glint reserves will be able to recover a little, but I bet they will have the Winterfest event next season with new skins to chase about. So, at least for now, I will take my time to save all the Glint that I can. Anyway, it's been 3 days already since ranked season 171 has concluded, so I was quite behind in writing my season report, but just like what they say, it's "better late than sorry".
Modern Format Season 84 Splinterlands Report
After not getting any leaderboard rewards last season because I fell short to rank within the top 100 players of the Champion leaderboard, I once again did not manage to get leaderboard rewards this time. It was because 2 days before the end of season, there is an outage within my ISP, so I do not have internet until after the new season started. That said, I do not think that it was an entire loss for me since in my Champion 3 advancement chest, I was able to get 2 jackpot cards, as well as 1 legendary and 2 epic soulbound rewards.

This season, I played a lot more battles, but there can be more only if I was able to play the last 2 days of the season, but that additional battles that I had had allowed me to earn around 250 SPS in ranked battles. It's not just my battles that took a hit when I lost my internet. I also missed some tournaments and brawl matches which resulted in some SPS loss, but that loss was offset by my ranked battle wins, so it does not hurt as much.

And with that, I have earned a total of 3,674.378 SPS or about 24.48 $ in total.

But the thing that really took a hit was my Glint rewards as the total Glint that I earned dropped to 411,898 Glint when I usually earned more than 500k Glint per season. If we are basing it on battle alone, I had earned more, but because I missed the leaderboard rewards, I lose a large portion of the Glint that I could possibly get.
My fortune entries were also way lower than the previous season but my account was quite unlucky with with RNG, so I don't think I will get any prizes even when I have doubled the number of my entries. I will just have to wait to get my hands of the Luckiest Longshot.

When it comes to my rental cost, my total expenses this season was 30,211.305 DEC or about $ 18.59. And if we deduct it from my SPS earnings, I will be left with around $5.89 in earnings.
CA Reward and Extra set Progress
Once again, using the site splinterhub.com, we now have an easier way to monitor the progress of our CA reward cards though this does not include the Extra set, so that will be manually monitored. And for this season, I was at 24% of my common rewards collection with 6 of my cards finally at level 6, while the other 5 are still at level 5.
When it comes to my rares, it was currently at 19% with 5 of my card reaches level 4, while the other 5 was at level 3, and thanks to my alt account, I was finally able to get my second Black Foil card which is the rare card, Grove Doomblade. That makes two Black Foil for me, but I hope that the next time I get a card, it is either of Legendary or Epic rarity.
Meanwhile, my epic and legendary rewards collection still remains to look very sad with with it having less than 5% completion rate.
As for my Extra collection, none of the cards that I get have enough copies to proceed for the next level but since they are jackpot cards, it's understandable why they will take longer to get.
2025 HPUD Completed
For 2025, my main goal was to increase my hive power, and a good way to do it is by participating on Hive Power Up Day by which users will need to power up at least 10 Hive during the first day of the month. Through this year, I was able to power up more than 410 Hive power during HPUD. I also try to complete Hive Power Up month where users will need to power up at least 1 Hive per day, but there are times that I just forgot about it, resulting to missing some of the days.
In 2026, I plan to continue with my HPUD and will attempt again to complete HPUM.
Closing
I still have not bought any chest for this season as I was saving my Lint for the potential event for winter fest to get whatever skins that I can get through chest, and without buying chests, my battles my took some hit once again.
