Lyra & Lorn's New Voucher Card: Tasoshi Drakamoto

Ever since the removal of vouchers as a payment option in playing Wild Format, the Voucher Shop has provided a great utility for the token and has become a huge voucher sink by selling promo cards in exchange of vouchers. It even comes to a point where we are burning more vouchers than what is printed, which helps to maintain its price. And now, a new Voucher card has just become available in the Voucher Shop.
Will this new promo card become another huge Voucher sink? That is what I want to figure out by taking a look at #TasoshiDrakamoto for this week's Community Engagement Challenge.
Tasoshi Drakamoto
Tasoshi Drakamoto was the latest card available in the Voucher Shop, replacing Kelan Gaines, making it the 4th Voucher card to be sold on the shop and the 1st Voucher card that belongs to Conclave Arcana. If you think that the name sounds familiar, well, you are not wrong about that because its name was derived from the name of Satoshi Nakamoto, which is said to be the name of the person who created Bitcoin.
Tasoshi Drakamoto -> Satoshi Nakamoto
Tasoshi Drakamoto is also the first voucher card to have the Epic rarity to be sold in the shop for a Fire Element magic unit, having the Drakoshan Bloodline, so when used together with the Archon Kavor Skarn, it will get +1 additional speed from its Bloodline Dominion. For its abilities, it has Sneak that allows the card to attack backline opponents and can make them unable to attack for a turn due to Stun. It also has Inspire that increases the melee attack of all allied units by +1, and when it dies, it will trigger its Spite for a 100% chance counter attack to the card that defeats it.
Since this card was part of Conclave Arcana, it was also available on Black foil and Arcane Variants.

How To Get Tasoshi Drakamoto?
There are three ways to acquire a copy of Tasoshi Drakamoto. First is the General Card voucher sale that started on June 17 and will last for roughly 90 days, following the previous voucher cards, followed by the Gold Foil Arcane Fortune Draw that will start at August 12 and the Black Foil Arcane Auction to be held at August 26.
General Voucher Sale
During the general sale, a copy of Tasoshi Drakamoto can be bough for 250 Vouchers with 2% chance to be a Gold Foil and 1 in 4,000 drop rate to get Black Foil. The odds can be doubled by using Alchemy and Midnight Potion while for every 50 cards purchased at in a single transaction will guarantee a Gold Foil.
Gold Foil Arcane Fortune Draw
In this method, players will not be able to directly buy the card but rather, they will need to craft Fortune Tickets that needs 200 Aura, 10 Vouchers and 200 DEC. One draw entry is equivalent to 10 Fortune Tickets and there will only be 10 Gold Foil Arcane cards to be minted with 1 card each day.
Black Foil Arcane Auction
If you think that you do not have the luck to win a Golf Foil Arcane, perhaps, it will be easier to just bid for the Black Foil Arcane copy of the card. For 5 days, there will be 5 cards to be auction with 1 card each day. To participate, players will need to craft Auction Marks which is the bidding currency used in this method that requires 1000 Aura, 50 Vouchers and 500 DEC.
Will Tasoshi Drakamoto Make Us Voucher Deflationary?
Each day, we printed a total of 40k Vouchers. 20k coming from SPS staking Rewards, and the other half was given to the Validator Node holders, so if the card lasts for 90 days, we will need to burn 3.6m Vouchers to be Voucher Deflationary. As of the writing of this post, we have already spent 761, 500 Vouchers and there are still more than 80 days before this card is replaced, making it very possible for this card to be a substantial voucher sink. add to the fact that we aside from the general sale, there is also the raffle and the auction.
However, I, as a player, would not go to immediately buy this card. Compared to Kelan Gaines, Tasoshi Drakamoto, I think, is just inferior both in stats and abilities, and the fact that the Drakoshan Bloodline currently has a few cards to use and a not-so-great summoner may make other players refrain from buying this card. Maybe it gets better when it gets more synergies with the Conclave Arcana Rewards, but that was still around 3 months from now based on the last townhall.
Closing
And that was it for Tasoshi Drakamoto, the newest voucher card. By any means, I don't think that the card is weak, but right now, it just lacks bloodline cards' synergies on it to make it really stand out. There are 90 days for this card before it becomes removed from the shop, so for now, I think I would refrain from getting it or maybe look on the secondary market for a cheaper offer.
