Escalation: Portia Nyr Wallpaper

Hello there! @saydie here, manually playing Splinterlands everyday!

With the hype of the upcoming release of Escalation, Conclave Arcana's mini-set, I was planning to make some new wallpapers that everyone can use, particularly from the cards that I think that will be a vital part of the game's meta. Maybe use it as a desktop background for their computers or use it as a banner for their blog post. But since the available art for the set was in its card form, it will prove to be harder to do, with parts of the character art covered by abilities and stats, and they can be a pain to remove.
But then, I remember that one of the card in the mini-set has their character art revealed long ago, when Conclave Arcana was revealed, and I had it saved on my computer. It also so happens that the new Spl Contest was asking for creative Splinterlands-related content, which I find to be a good time to share wallpapers for Portia Nyr, one of the promo cards that will come with the mini set. In making this, all the images that I used were from @splinterlands, made by their amazing creative team, and then, through Adobe Photoshop, I played with the image that I collected until I came up with the results that I will share.

For the source images, I took a photo of Portia Nyr, which I had in me, even before Conclave Arcana sale, backgrounds from the Escalation store page, the Splinterlands logo, the CA logo, and the logo for Bloodline. Using these images, I made two different wallpapers, two of which are made horizontal, while the other one is vertical.

Basically, the first thing I did was to remove the background on Portia Nyr, then I just slapped it on the Escalation shop background image. Add some outer glow to the character, so she would stand out more, then add her name, and the Splinterlands logo to have the first wallpaper design.
For the second design, I keep the glow effects on the character, add a few lines and shapes where I placed the character name, its bloodline below, and the CA logo above, then make the Splinterlands logo and name smaller.
It is also pretty much the same for the third design, but here, I added the Escalation logo.

I think the result of each design turned out decent, but I like the vertical wallpaper the most, since I can use it as my phone's background wallpaper, and bring it wherever I go, as I played the game most of the time using my phone.

For now, these were the only wallpapers that I made from Escalation, but once we have more of the source image, and I have more time to spare, I like to make more wallpapers with my #ZeroSkillSplinterlands, mostly for my personal use, but others are also free to use it.
Thank you, and see you on the next post!
