Band Collaborations: Part V (ttt)
Hello to all my fellow music lovers! It's Tuesday once again and that only means we got another three tune tuesday of songs to recommend for all of Hive community to listen and for this post, I will do another list of band colabs following my last post.
Dearly Departed- Escape the Fate ft. Robbietheused
For this first song, Escape the Fate, which I mentioned as the previous band that Ronnie Radke used to be part of, has collaborate to Robbietheused or Bert McCracken of The Used in making Dearly Departed that comes with some creepy animations for the music video. If I should say, it was like the 2004 adult animated series Finger Salad but with Tim Burton twist on it. In regards to what this song is about, it was about a couple that was about to get married but the woman dies in an accident when a chandelier fell on her during the wedding. But still, the love of the man for the woman did not get away that when his time comes to end, he will look for her even to the depths of hell just so that he can marry her.
All My Life- Falling In Reverse ft. Jelly Roll
For this next song, we once again have Falling in Reverse and this time, it partners to Jelly Roll whose known for singing country music to make what I would call country- metal with the song All My Life where the video was set in wild- wild west. Its got cowboys, guns and horses... with wings, people that turns to giant and a Kraken. It was really the wild- wild west and once again kudos to Epitaph records for having visuals that was better than movies. What's more is that it was really hilarious how people that are wearing outfits from Red Dead Redemption dance during a metal breakdown. The song tells about how a person he made many mistakes that messes his life but was doing his best to get better.
Leave it all Behind - F. Hero x Baby Metal x Body Slam
Saving for the last, was another song which features Babymetal as they joined with Taiwanese rapper F. Hero and Taiwanese rock band Bodyslam for the song Leave it all behind, another project between artist with different nationality. It's not the first time that F. Hero collaborate with Baby Metal so it was not a surprise for me to see them together once again but now they even added Bodyslam which is one of the few Thai bands that I knew and they surprisingly blend really well as it tries to conveys the message to leave behind all the anxiety and suffering as it will just burden us as we carry on in life. Apparently, the music video was also set in Thailand with mostly Thai staff working with the music so there was definitely a language barrier that Babymetal had to face while making this song but still, they were able to make it through with such a masterpiece.
Bonus: Red Light Kisser- Your Broken Hero ft. Jordan Pundik of New Found Glory
Another bonus song this week from your "Felt Emo Might Delete" guy comes a collaboration with Jordan Pundik of New found Glory. Your Red Light Kisser was a song that is lovingly satire emo and early 2000's tropes. The video was over the top and Jordan's chorus part was really good add to the fact that the female MC was Matt's real life partner too.
And that was it for this week's #threetunetuesday post. This was a project initiated by @ablaze where everyone was free to share their favorite music every Tuesday. Thank you very much if you made it till the end and you can tell me which song have you liked or was something that you never heard.
See you until next time!
