RE: πŸ† Guess the Silver, Earn Some PIMP ! Round 13πŸ†

Something weird happened with the DLUX Hive account (as seen on its #PeakD wallet). πŸ€”πŸ€― I apparently "partially fulfilled" a "sale" of 348 HIVE worth of DLUX tokens (1,000 DLUX tokens at 0.348 HIVE per DLUX). πŸ€‘πŸ˜…

My investigation has led me to see that someone decided to buy a total of 1,000 DLUX for 348 HIVE exactly 720 hours before I received the HIVE tokens, and when nobody can technically fulfill the order due to the DLUX network's "collateral limits", the DLUX Hive account sent me the HIVE tokens. πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜Ž I hope that the buy transaction was intentional, and the buyer got the right amount of DLUX tokens that they wanted and paid only with the amount of HIVE that they wanted to spend for it. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€—

I would like the Hive devs @borniet and @kenny-crane to see this comment and give feedback. πŸ€—πŸ˜… If I don't get a response from either the DLUX team or the buyer until after 24 hours from the time I received the HIVE tokens, I would assume that the transaction went as intended and I would use the HIVE for testing purposes both on and off Hive. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€“

Hrmmm...that's very curious for sure. I've not had any experience with their collateral system, so I had to read this twice just to understand exactly what you're trying to express. If you had tokens up for sale, and someone bought them, I'd assume that it was intentional.

I hope that one or both of them appears, as I'd be curious as to what they'd say as well. I think after 24 hours it's safe to assume that it went as it was intended. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I think that someone buying 1,000 DLUX tokens for 0.348 HIVE each was high enough, and given that it took exactly 720 hours for the order to get "fulfilled" (where it really expired), I can think of the possibility that the buyer wanted to cancel the buy offer but was unable to do so !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ€― I still have more than 16,000 DLUX tokens available on the #dlux platform, but I don't know where to use them at present other than trying to sell them somewhat close to their price when that token was launched (used to be at about 1 HIVE per DLUX) or buying cheap DLUX NFTs. πŸ’ΈπŸ€―πŸ€“

OK, I see. That's one of the reasons why I didn't really get into DLUX, because there is not particular use for it other than selling it. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

The founder of the #Honeycomb which powers the DLUX and SPK networks currently has an existing proposal that is about to end, as well as an upcoming proposal asking for 10,000 HBD per day as "backpayment". πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ @savvyplayer (who is my voting proxy) has already voted for both, thinking that the project has a lot of potential !INDEED. πŸ€“πŸ˜

Your comment there made me support one more Hive proposal. πŸ˜… The proposals that are close to the return proposal are still !FUN to monitor !INDEED. πŸ˜†

It has been a few weeks since the DLUX network (particularly the NFT page and the DEX page) became inaccessible. πŸ€”πŸ€― That means all the DLUX tokens and NFTs are currently unavailable for gifting or selling. πŸ€―πŸ’Έ It's !WEIRD though that the DUAT DEX is still accessible. πŸ€―πŸ˜…

@savvyplayer noticed just a few days ago that the DLUX website has migrated to another blockchain, and all mentions of "Hive" are no longer there. πŸ€”πŸ€― I also can't find on #Ecency Search any (official or otherwise) mention about such drastic change !INDEED. πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€“

Among all the #Honeycomb networks that I have monitored so far (which are SPK, DLUX, and DUAT), only the SPK network remained active here on Hive. πŸ€”πŸ˜Ž However, it still seems far from being testable by end-users yet, let alone available for practical use !INDEED. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€―πŸ˜…

I'm still looking forward to the SPK network hosting the SPK Files, which is a cloud storage powered by the SPK equivalent of Resource Credits !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ

I saw the #Honeycomb main developer's latest post which was 5 months ago for the SPK network, and it has a version of SPK files which requires the download and running of a desktop app named "Oratr" (where a Hive account must be used without the benefit of #HiveKeychain which is a web browser extension or mobile app, though Oratr appears to be FOSS). πŸ€”πŸ€― What's even weirder is that such post (taking note that it is the latest) still refers to the DLUX website which no longer operates on Hive. πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€“

I haven't tried the desktop app for SPK files yet, but I can't think of any other way to login using a Hive account there rather than directly inserting the private posting (and active) key there !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€“

It's one thing for an app to be FOSS (the SPK Files's desktop app in this case), and getting knowledgeable devs to inspect the code (and responsibly share vulnerabilities) is another !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€―πŸ€“

A good way to properly test the SPK Files desktop app safely though is to create a new Hive account exclusive for it, loading it only with SPK-related tokens where necessary !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€“πŸ˜

For even safer testing, that desktop app (even if FOSS) should be downloaded and run inside a virtual machine (with networking) !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€―πŸ€“

Thanks for sharing your feedback about my DLUX trading experience on my previous comment! πŸ€—πŸ˜€ I simply assumed that because they buyer posted a buy offer of 1,000 DLUX for 0.328 HIVE per DLUX, then they really had the intention to buy such amount of DLUX for such HIVE price !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€“ !WEIRD !HOPE !HUG
