How many times can a code rewrite itself before it becomes a totally different code altogether? 🤖🤯 It reminds me of @kenny-crane's comment regarding the "Ship of Theseus"! 🤣😂

This brings consciousness into the equation, which is a whole other can of worms, because it's not an emergent property of the brain, but reverse, the brain and body is an emergent expression of consciousness. Consciousness cannot be destroyed. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I was just referring only to the "Ship of Theseus" from Kenny's comment, not everything on the comment itself !INDEED. 🤯 The original "Ship of Theseus" or "Theseus Paradox" does not refer to consciousness, but only a ship. 😅

OK, so noted, though I was just going off the comment that you linked. I hadn't heard of the 'Ship of Theseus' before you mentioned it. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I just thought now that (Web3) blockchains such as Hive can't be affected by such "Ship of Theseus" paradox, as (witness) nodes simply place new blocks on top of the respective blockchain periodically. 🤓
Well that was a radical shift of topics, and since you dropped that with no previous conversation to give context, it would really be helpful for you to do so, because I'm really not sure at all to what you're referring. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I edited my previous comment to make it (much) easier to understand, mostly by removing the second sentence which would take me much more time and effort to explain !INDEED. 🤯
In other words, a blockchain is not code (which comprise apps and other software) which can be rewritten at will, but rather simply a set of blocks placed on top of the previous blocks. 🤓
