My Makati Adventure: Samsung A56 & A36 Media Preview Experience

On February 25, I embarked on an exciting trip to Makati, Manila, invited as one of the influencers for the media preview of Samsung’s A56 & A36, because, as they say, Awesome is for Everyone! Let me take you through my whirlwind adventure filled with bonding, great food, and unforgettable memories.

Our influencer squad from Cebu, along with a representative from Taro AOX, kicked things off with snacks before boarding our flight. Upon landing at NAIA, we were whisked away to our home for the trip to Green Sun Makati, conveniently near the event venue, Whitespace Makati. Each blogger had their own room (luxury, right?), giving us time to unwind after our 3 PM arrival.

At 7:00 PM, we regrouped and headed to Fely J’s Kitchen in Greenbelt for a scrumptious dinner. But the night didn’t end there! A few of us decided to take a little adventure to find a 7-Eleven, stocking up on water and midnight snacks before finally calling it a night around 10:00 PM.

The next morning started with a delightful breakfast buffet at the hotel. Since the event was in the afternoon, we had plenty of time to grab a coffee. So before checking out, my blogger friends and I couldn’t resist a Starbucks run at 10 AM. It turned into a mini-reunion, catching up on life and sharing updates about our blogging journeys that is over a decade of stories, growth, and evolving content creation. It was such a heartwarming moment to reflect on how far we’ve come together! After our coffee sesh, we went back to the hotel, met up with the other bloggers, and checked out to head to Greenbelt for lunch.

We didn’t know that the universe had a little surprise for us! As we stepped out of our van on the way to Shake Shack, we spotted actress Nikki Gil. Of course, we couldn’t pass up the chance for a selfie, and couldn't stop smiling as she was so gracious and lovely in person. I mean, what are the odds? Total fangirl moment!

After that star-studded encounter, we grabbed a quick bite at Shake Shack before heading to Whitespace Makati.

We got an exclusive sneak peek of Samsung’s latest A-series phones the A56 & A36, showcasing awesome features that had us all buzzing with excitement (you can read my detailed thoughts on the devices here). And let’s not forget the unlimited coffee from Candid Coffee that fueled our energy before stepping into the event.

One of the best parts? Finally meeting my fellow bloggers and influencers in person! I missed the last Samsung event and had to send my sister, so it felt amazing to finally connect and share laughs in real life.

After the event, we enjoyed some post-event snacks before heading to the airport. Despite a delayed flight, we made the most of it. Chatting, laughing, and reliving the event highlights until it was finally time to fly back home.

This trip was such a blast, from the seamless travel arrangements and comfy accommodations to the fun-filled bonding moments and the exciting product launch. And the little unexpected moments like our Starbucks life updates and bumping into Nikki Gil made it even more unforgettable. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to reunite with my fellow creators for the next event!

It was indeed a Memorable Day at Makati, Manila. I can't wait for our next event and where will it be?
