I am your Queen Mother of Cebu 2024 - Fortitude

Tomorrow marks the 1st month since I was crowned your Queen Mother of Cebu 2024 - Fortitude. I was planning to blog about this but due to my busy schedule, I could not do so. So let me officially announce in my blog that I won as your second runner-up during the coronation night last May 11, 2024, at IEC Convention Center. During the coronation night, there were three segments, the production number in which we were able to showcase Sir Brian Aloquin's design, the fun wear segment which I blogged recently, and the gown segment where the Q&A takes place right after.

Before anything else, let me tell you why I chose to join Queen Mother of Cebu. Unlike any other pageant, they are unique! For the first time, I was encouraged to try a pageant for moms because of their mission and vision. The four core values that made them stand out among the rest. Their mission is to help the community and their vision is to help moms and give them a chance to have "me time" which we all need. They created a pageant with a cause that rallies the four core values which are unity, inclusivity, woman empowerment, and lastly Charity. As a single mom, I felt, I was more than welcome to share my story and to be heard. That's why I was convinced that this pageant is for every mom who wants to be part of something great while taking good care of her mental health.

The pre-pageant ran for about four months, and we had so many unforgettable events like charity visits which were close to my heart. Fast forward, and I am so proud to say that I was able to graduate with flying colors! Yes, I am so proud I was able to finish as Second Runner-up out of Twenty-Five amazing moms. I was chosen as iFM Idol Queen during our Press conference and awarded Ms. Photogenic during the coronation night.

Moving forward, my role as Queen Mother of Cebu 2024 - Fortitude has started already. We had an amazing day with the Ausome kids (Kids with autism) during our charity drive as our grand winner advocates Autism Awareness, being an Ausome mom. Then we had our Charity Fashion Show to help Persons Deprived of Liberty at Talisay City Jail. I am so proud to be part of the Queen Mother of Cebu Organization and I am more than willing to give my time to serve the Community as it is our mission to give back.

I am your Queen Mother of Cebu 2024 - Fortitude, and I am ready to amplify the voices of all single moms. I hope you all know that we single moms, can inspire and empower others through our stories. I hope you will continue to shine amidst all adversities in life.
