That was a good treat too oneself! They say that pancit symbolize 'long life ' so don't cut it like the spags! Adding 'monkey's ears' will add to the flavor. It's not literally the ears of monkeys. Lol! But rather it's a mushroom like algae that grows on dead woods. This kind of prep is called Bam-i it's a combination of pansit and sotanghon. Try it! Btw, happy wedding anniversary to you both.
