Playing The Victim Game

One thing people fail to understand is that we create our own problems, we create the circumstances and the cause now the effect of what caused the problem in the first place becomes a problem.

They is definitely no need blaming others for a misfortune that happen when it is clearly your fault and somewhere along the line you caused whatever problem or challenges you going through

People with a victim mentality always blame others for the trauma going on in their lives, and sometimes even when nothing is being done to them they tend to create attention out of jealousy and act like the next person is trying to make them feel bad.

A person with a victim mentality always sees things happening that are not there. I mean it is never their fault, what they fail to see and understand is, they are just trying to play the victim game and act all dramatic.

99% of peeps do have victim mentality its just having the ability to control it, but others fail at this point, that is why most people commit suicide because of the trauma they are passing through.

Sometimes this mindset can lead someone commiting suicide, or hurting themselves so badly, like a person drinking poison because of a heart break, whose fault is it if not the person killing him/herself? forgetting the fact that if they didn't fall deeply or madly in love in the first place or be so emotional about the break up there wouldn't be negative thoughts lingering in their minds.

Why then do people have a victim mentality?

The main reason for this is because this set of people are too scared to take responsibility for anything they do in life, they are too scared to take responsibility for their actions, their mistakes and their trauma and thus they tend to blame others for whatever they are going through.

Oftentimes I am not gonna lie. I play the victim game a lot. I might even say I have this mentality where I blame my partner for the misfortune happening to me.

But recently i come to realize and learn that whatever mistakes that occured in the past and am suffering for it now it's entirely my fault, no one caused it but me, when i accept my flaws, and take full responsibility for whatever am going through without putting the blame on Mr A or B every other thing follows, and with me having this mindset i was able to cope with the effect of the problem and move through it. This is one of the ways to escape the mindset of victimization.

Hello @sarahossai 🙋

This mentality does a lot of harm to the individual. In addition, when the heads of the family have it, they tend to pass it on to their children, which sometimes takes a long time to change. We need to keep educating ourselves about it.🙌

Welcome to our community.💚
