Are You Using Silencio?
DePIN Power
Silencio is a project I first addressed about a year ago. The Silencio application is built on Peaq and rewards users for recording noise pollution. Users can record up to 30-minute-long sessions, which then qualify them for SLC tokens. Tokens are distributed once a month, making Silencio a DePIN dApp that pays almost immediately, unlike the majority of DePIN applications.
Grass is a great project. However, users must wait for each season to end before they can receive their GRASS tokens. This is a long wait, as a season typically spans multiple months. Furthermore, SLC is available on several exchanges, including Gate, MEXC, and KuCoin. The SLC token has also performed relatively well over the past few weeks, surging 114% over a week.
These tokens can be held for the long term or sold for alternative altcoins. However, with Silencio’s performance and potential in mind, keeping a portion of earned coins is an attractive idea. Micro-caps can rally hard, especially once their time arrives, if it arrives. Unfortunately, altcoins are a little sluggish this time around, as we are yet to see stellar performers within the sector.
Looking back on the 500X performers of 2021 makes the current cycle pale in comparison. There have been very few projects to rally in 2024 and 2025. Although rather disappointing, the game is not over yet. Earning free coins that could rally is, of course, worth considering. Finding ways to bolster your altcoin bags is key!
Final Thoughts
Silencio is a great little project, and being a Peaq-based project within the Machine Economy makes it even more exciting. Earning SLC tokens is straightforward. Use the code CoinCollector if you are interested in building a stockpile of SLC tokens. You never know if Silencio breaks a $50 million market cap; it could be a viable decision. All the best, catch you in the next one!
