RE: Kiki's Delivery Service (a Ghibli anime)

It has a thematic similarity about acquiring independence of a girl and about coming of age with the more famous Spirited Away, so Kiki could be considered as a precursor to this, but Kiki stands on its own as more than that.
The music accompanies well but is not one of the most outstanding of the Ghibli films; in this aspect, Spirited Away's is far superior. In particular, I have the impression that Kiki lacked more musical pieces.
It is a non-complex story that deals with highly universal deep themes. Argumentatively, I liked the development of the Kiki movie a little more, as well as her as a character, but the climax of Spirited Away is more memorable.
