First, I draw sketch of Mally. Since he is only half, I drew it using my eyesight and my guesses. If you draw a direct picture without first drawing the body structure, you need to have some drawing practice. When I sketched Mally, I first estimated the position of her arms and the position of her large body. So I roughly marked out the locations with a square.

After got the sketch of Mally, I started drawing shades dedail of his aprons. Because I want to fill in the shades that need to be drawn first. It's more convenient for me to do the quick things first and then think about the difficult things and draw them slowly. If I do the difficult things first, it takes a long time and I don't see the result, which makes me feel discouraged.

After that, I continued to draw the shades of face, chef's hat and chef's shirt. And then, I draw the shades for his hand and table. Finally I finished my pen drawing for the Mally. I believe him that he can sing well as he can cook food well.
