This is my pen drawing for R299 Ingrid. First, I drew the sketch. In the sketch, I first approximated her shoulders, chest, and legs, and then drew her head last. If I draw the head first, it might be out of balance with the body. And her head shape is difficult to draw, so it will take more time to fix it.
After finished the sketch, I started drawing dedail shades from her head. I drew her hair with dark lines slowly.Her right eye was small and had a narrow area, so I had to draw it carefully. And drew detail for the nose and mouth. After that I have finished drawing the head details. I continued shading for her hands and chest. His front area is large. So I didn't fill the shades full because of I want the light style. I kept the shades simple with straight lines. Simple is the best. I love drawing because it calms my mind. If our minds are calm, our actions will be correct.
This is final step. I continued to draw for the skirt's shades. In pen drawing, the intersection different directions is key. Pen drawing requires patience, as you have to fill in large areas with small pen lines. I patiently worked on filling in the detailed shades. Finally, I finished my pen drawing for R299 Ingrid.
