Watching movies is my favorite pastime now, though not from childhood.

Our childhood was full of activities as back then, any digital footprint was not established and we are that last generation who knows the difference between a full analog life to a full digital overkill. Back then, friends would come home directly and eat and stay, our parents never hesitated to feed our friends who would arrive without any notice. And then we were busy with playing traditional games, board games like Ludo at home or outdoor games like rolling glass balls (Kancha or Marbles) and try to win as much as possible, by shooting and striking other marbles with the ones you have. Anyone played that ? I was so perfect in playing the Kancha that I would always win, if my turn comes - there would be no next. Back then, I used to also play football, my second favorite game then. After joining college, I barely got time and all those pastimes from childhood were frozen in time. And watching movies became my new favorite pastime, whenever we got opportunity, we would go to a theater and watch a movie. Since then watching movie in theater is my favorite pastime and interestingly, after marriage it became more frequent, because she also likes the most to watch a movie, that too in theater. We have taken all kind of subscriptions at home - Amazon Prime, Netflix, Zee and many more, but still we both enjoy going out and watch the movie in big screen. Another advantage of watching movie in theater is that, you won't be disturbed in between 😀 There will be always something in between at home, however big screen you set up.

Having her with same favorite, makes it more enjoyable together and kids too enjoy the company. And often we dine out when we go to watch a movie - that way she gets a little breather, as she is always occupied at home. Now that I often visits my parents at native, whenever I am available and we have a good movie we plan to see that and de-congest ourselves from all the stress, that does not have any solution. These little moments of happiness matters a lot to share our responsibilities with great understandings.
