This will be no longer a Garden
They want to make this a play area and my Garden moved again to an abandoned place
At times, I feel pity on my plants and my gardening hobby, should I continue or give up forever ? Every time I make a place beautiful, some people get jealous over it and then all kind of politics happens. This place was lying abandoned for quite few years and when I took charge and developed this to a beautiful garden, it did not go well with some residents in our society. You must have seen that in some of my earlier posts. Even though society did not contribute anything and I built up everything spending a lot from my pocket (keep aside my efforts), their demand is to beautify the other side park, and not this one, so that they can enjoy the view from their balcony. And they don't know (or even want to know) what it takes to build a garden - such selfish people exist at every place. So all kind of lobby finally brought in the decision to make this a play area and the society politely requested me to shift my garden to other side, and take charge of that area fully and develop it. Are you joking ? Who builds a garden in harsh summer ?
I could easily understand their intention - they have already seen the results of my effort, so they want to leverage that - it comes free just because I love doing it, so they don't have any better person to take care. And I don't have other choice as well - so kind of locked in situation for me. But I did not want to do anything in the summer - next three to four months are going to be very tough for us with temperature soaring to more than 45 degrees. So I decided to move the garden to another abandoned place in the corner - at least temporarily. We will see how it goes after summer but giving up is not in my gene.
A driver of another resident loves my activities, so he stepped forward to help in to clean the area. I always keep saying, You don't have to ask anyone to do good work - it will be automatically noticed.
And we were not disappointed by the soil - a nice ground potato surfaced in - organic and chemical free which we shared.
Even though he has limited availability, he also helped in moving the pots to the new place.
So now the plants are living in an abandoned scary place (because we often see snakes there) but it's probably good for them - instead of getting frustrated, I am trying to take it positively. I just need to be careful to go there - snakes won't harm, unless you harm them. They are just another species, living with us in the nature, where would they go !!!
You can see how I have replanted those all seasoned inca saplings in these pots - not even sure if they will grow in summer or not, but no harm in trying. May be this new place would be better for them !! I will replant them again after cleaning up the old plants - this activity was not even in my thoughts. And I gave rest of the saplings for free to the person who brings cow manure for me - he was so happy - these are the moments when we feel the joy of giving.
There are few inca plants whom I needed to take care before coming to my native - all sort of experiment which never ends.
The curry leaves plant kept at the extreme end but people still go after it - in this world everyone wants to take away things to their home without realizing what it takes to grow it.
I keep fighting with them but I also know the fact that, I can't completely restrict them - the CCTV won't capture this place now. So accept and plant few more baby plants in new pots - acceptance is the key to happiness. They almost killed it by taking all its leaves and I have survived it again.
And I am trying to create some Chrysanthemums mother plants for next season, to grow saplings from them, which will start in August. So next four months will be gone in developing them about which I will share updates.
Life at times brings uncertainties but accepting them and doing our best is perhaps the only way to keep going. Since the boy's board exam was over and there is gap before his next exam, I came in to spend some time with my parents - our karma will decide our destiny.

What a disappointing move, they want a play area and a beautiful garden near for free, you made the right choice moving to a new place
Moving a garden in summer is pure madness
Like pushing the plants for a suicide, no way...
i cant relate it but its a lot of work
Sir your post very interesting and I like gardening
Good morning, dear friend @sanjeevm
I'm so sorry for what you're going through. It's a shame you had to move the garden and start over.
I think you're right to wait until summer is over to start working on the new garden; extreme heat isn't good for the plants.
It's disappointing that it happened, but I have no doubt you'll do a great job.
I wish you much success.
These kind of pesta potatoes that are found under the ground are very tasty to eat, we also cultivate them here and dig them up once a year.
More like it Sir....it is the best sentence of the blog sir.
You have done a great job to continue your gardening activities even after they forced you to leave the place for a playground..
That's the spirit sir..I like your approach towards life..
I think it is not an easy job at all to rebuild the spoil garden..
Great work sir.
Thumbs up for you.
I also move to new garden this year
Well, there is snake because the place fulfil with wild plants
So I think when you take care the place, maybe the snake will move to another area
exactly, they can feel when we go to that area, so constant human movement will push them.
You are doing good work, people will enjoy it but will not put effort into it. So why not continue your work even though it costs a lot. Moving a garden from one place to another is a lot of work. Hopefully next time I won't have to move the garden. Thanks to the driver who is working hard.

I guess a play area is better than more houses. That's what they have been doing with many of the green areas over here and it is sad to see them go.
You put in all that effort, and now they just want to take advantage of it. At least that ground potato was a nice surprise for you it was a blessing
People are very complicated sometimes, you have a great will power and passion to cope with something like this, I would have gone crazy haha people the easier they have something, the more they demand, unfortunately, your work is exceptional and your time and money is also worth it 🙏
Looks like you use to have a good yield from there. The land texture looks fertile
I can imagine how you must feel, my friend, after so much work, having to move all your plants to another place just to please some neighbors who, for one reason or another, don't like them and now want to have a play area.
I can understand what you're going through @sanjeevm and it's disappointing. Some people don't do anything at first place when someone does then they try to take the credit. You have worked hard on this garden
I’m taking about the stress of moving your garden from one place to another
It’s about if stress
I know that you will not let yourself be defeated by adversity, my friend, and although now it seems like an abandoned place, with your effort you will manage to have it as great as that space that they now want to turn into a playground.
Well actually if you should asked me, I will say you should continue instead of wanting to give up
Yeah, never give up! Especially if you have deep passion for it. I think this is just part of the challenges we face in achieving what we want.
I will suggest you find a place around and purchase, where you will stay permanently so no one would try to come up with another excuse but if this new place is in your full custody, then you are good to go.
By the way, your flowers are beautiful. I hope they all survive this up coming season.
Well, Its not easy to purchase because land price is way up here, because of all the black money - it costs 10000/- INR per square feet now. I could never buy a house or land for that reason, may be if HIVE goes wild then it will be possible :)
Oh, okay, I get it now. So pathetic that prices of things have gone so high nowadays virtually every where in the world.
This is unbelievable! Sir can't you purchase or secure a permanent place for your garden so that such incident will not reoccur again?
a square feet costs 10000 INR :)
Actually, I wouldn’t have advised you to move your garden because it will be a lot of work but I wish you well
I´m really sorry to hear that your local community keeps being such a pain in the ass when it comes to your gardening efforts. So blatantly ungrateful of them! I can imagine it´s hard not to give up after all those problems but I know you are not a quitter. Keep up your inspiring work my friend :)

Same here, this year, I had severe arguments even with some, at times it makes me wonder, why people are so selfish, carrying so much ego - what are they going to take when they will die !!!
A certain friend, life gives us a lot of uncertainty, all that remains is to work to get ahead and achieve our goals. From there, never give up, and even if it is an abandoned place, it does not matter because with your effort and work, you will make it a great place to have your plants.
@tipu curate
YOu really have some challenges gardening don't you? You have a unique issue that you live in such a populated place and that people don't seem to respect your efforts. I'm glad that guy helped - that restores a little faith in humanity! I guess you love gardening anyway and I admire how you just keep going even when you have issues like this. And then you get a random DV - sigh!
Yes, there are still good people out there, I will keep going no matter whatever happen, can't convince myself to quit.
What a challenging situation you are sharing here with us, @sanjeevm. If I am understanding correctly, it is very sad to read how the envy of your neighbors has played out. Requiring you to move and start over? 😞
Well, you appear to have a great mindset about overcoming this adversity and carry on with fighting the good fight. All the best to you, in your endeavors to rebuild!
P.S. New to contributing content to Hive, I do not understand why this post has been downvoted. Reading through your comments, this account has not told you why either. You clearly have put a lot of effort into creating it. Perhaps you take this in stride, I do not know. Seeing this does not provide encouragement.
Thank you, may be @smooth can explain, why the downvote ?
I will sometimes make small downvotes when I think the post has attracted too many large votes, autovotes, and paid curation for the type of content. Hive can be looked at as a business and we have to manage our reward budget carefully. There is no question that your content is good and deserving of rewards, I just quibble with the amount.
Thank you for the compliment, it's fine to have little naughtiness to quibble - that's the whole purpose of being decentralized. I just write because it helps me to relax by expressing some trivial stuffs - physical socialization would do that much better, but unfortunately, that is now in the verge of extinction.
Hmmm. Setting a reminder to come back and see if you got a response, @sanjeevm, I see that you did. One with which you appear to have no issue? I suppose it must help this account seems to have returned most of what it took away with the original downvote.
Sure thing. While wiping out the upvote you got from how many accounts like mine? Specifically, of your (as this is written) 410 upvotes, how many got overwritten? Whatever the answer, why bother?
No need to answer.
Well, everyone is free to use their stake, and it was reasonably explained, so I think, its ok.
Yes, I assumed that was your view of it all. Thank you for providing this confirmation. I appreciate you investing your time to do that!

My parents prefer to call it the science of sowing and reaping. What you sow, that's what you will reaping.
Exactly, it takes time to realize that.
It can be frustrating. Your garden has been transferred to different places.
