What kind of clinic you would like to go ?
Toothache is very hard to tolerate, and needs immediate attention and recently I had to deal with it and in that process, I discovered THE PULP - a dental clinic that is very near to me. The discovery was not accidental though, I did some research to find out this place. My father-in-law's younger brother is a renowned dentist, having just retired from one of the most premium medical college of our state. He stays a little far from my place, so I was looking for a facility near to us, that would provide personalized care like him. Even though he was out of station when I faced this issue, he guided me to this place and personally endorsed Dr Saumyakanta Mohanty as a very skilled hand, as he also serves as an Associate Professor in the same medical college.
Now a days, many clinics are flooded everywhere, some of them even having quacks but they put up a very nice facility to impress you. What matters most is the expertise, as that affects us for long time, or for my rest of life you can say.
The facility also matters to a large extent ( unlike our childhood when a doctor would pull the teeth without even anesthesia) and they have a very nice set up, so I was all in.
Next is convenience of appointment to suit us - personalized care to match our schedule, as the treatment happened over three sittings. The very first time was an emergency and I was able to meet him and get some medicines, for pain relief. But then they planned all my sittings based on my convenience - no long waiting, they would confirm the slot and follow up to make sure, the treatment is timely - time is the most precious asset we all have - I have meetings most of the time and the doctor is very occupied, but I was very happy the way they managed the schedules - most of the clinics fail in time management making you wait or even go again and again.
Now coming to the treatment - the doctor was very cooperative and precise on the treatment plan and I must say, it was executed neat - perfection at its best. The price was pretty affordable as well - he gave me several choices for the crown and my new corporate insurance plan covered the best, so I went for that. They provided all the documents needed to claim the amount, which I am yet to do, but their price is at par with other places.
So overall, it met all the criteria and this is going to be my permanent place to go for any dental issues and even recommended place for others living nearby. What kind of clinic you usually go ? Do you do research before going ? What matters to you most ?
This post will be part of my Google review of this place, a little hive marketing. I always feel hive needs an app for reviews because reviews are spontaneous content, that most can contribute. Imagine, if we set some big weekly rewards and advertise that, we will see lot of action because everyone can write a review. It sounds like the Pulp clinic really delivered on that front, with good treatment and pricing. I also like how they made sure your appointments fit your schedule, which is a huge bonus.
I agree with you on doing research before choosing a clinic, especially for something as important as dental care. For me, I usually prefer a place with solid reviews, qualified staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. but of course, affordability and convenience matter, too.
Doctors must be very friendly and cooperative with the patients. In the past, when I used to go to government hospitals, I used to see doctors talking to different people and giving prescriptions to the patients. However, now a lot has changed and doctors are becoming more attentive.

There's no worse pain than toothache. Honestly, it's a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Whenever a toothache occurs, it is unbearable, so we have to go to the doctor immediately to get the tooth checked. Here we see that if that place is comfortable for us and we trust that doctor, and if the fee is also being charged from us there, then we try to go to the same place again and again and get all our dental problems solved because without it, we cannot eat bread or anything else.
For clinics like that in Canada, it is kind of like your vet clinic. They are all fairly similar as far as services and reputation go. You pick one and just always go there.
Being in the search optimization business, google reviews are a powerful thing when it comes to easily making a short list of ones to look more closely at.

I go to the same dentist since 20 years, it's tough to find a good one because if he's not good you get damages... Public dentists are absolutely to skip, always private ones anyways

Very good friend, I hope you find that place to be treated in the best possible way. Well, here in our country, the service in a clinic is excessively expensive for us. At least we have to go to the hospital, and as you can imagine, it is not in the best conditions either.

Indeed. I remember having toothaches when I was young. It has been a big childhood struggle.
That seems like the perfect place, my friend, to receive royal treatment, in addition to offering us many advantages. Well, here in my country, there are only hospitals and government-run care centers, since private clinics are too expensive for our budget.
I am not aware about clinics with quacks. Isn't that illegal? So far, haven't heard such in the news for years.

Toothaches are no joke. Incredibly painful and hard to ignore. The doctor really took the time to explain everything and make sure the treatment was great. Plus, it's awesome that your insurance covered the best option and the price was still reasonable.
