Early report from the devs: Waivio uses the new image format WebP, which is about 3x more efficient than traditional image formats. Unfortunately, Hive.blog’s cache isn’t capable of processing these images correctly — yet it still tries to replace them with a broken copy.
It doesn’t happen every time, but it’s inconsistent.
There may be a way to fix this, but just like many legacy Hive interfaces can’t properly display objects (like businesses, products, pages, or lists), it now seems that even basic image handling is falling far behind.
