Delicious Street Foods at affordable price

The name should have been different !!

I am not a big fan of street foods, as I prefer home made simple food, but then there are times, when we need them. This was one such occasion, when we wanted to pick some food from a road side restaurant, after coming from the doctor consultation and I was amazed at the options available at a very affordable price.

20250129_131009.jpg20250129_130915.jpg

The kid is a big fan of Biriyani, so we were looking out for a nearby place, but could not find one. Called one of our relative staying in that area and he was nearby and joined us taking straight to this place - I could feel the aroma as soon as we reached there - Biriyani was ready and they started the serving from us - opened fresh with that nice look.

20250129_130501.jpg

And now have a look at what all they had, it was difficult to decide which ones to pick.

20250129_130653.jpg

Crab was tempting but I wanted something simple.

20250129_130556.jpg20250129_130548.jpg

Varieties of fish, especially the size of prawn was something I usually don't get at other places.

20250129_130827.jpg

The menu - too long for a man like me who has not eaten in such road side restaurants in more than a decade - price is less than half of what you get in malls. So literally the food in the mall costs high because of the ambience, even though they taste less than these places.

20250129_130814.jpg

Was super fun to see the cook's skill to give that fiery effect before being served - it's like punching the grill impact to cooked food.

20250129_131112.jpg

We picked a veg biriyani and a Kadai Mushroom for her, two chicken biriyanis for us - it comes with raita and chicken gravy (minus chicken) and the bill ? Only 700/- INR - never thought it would be so less.

20250129_131009.jpg

And believe me the food was not only tasty, it was not very spicy as well - we often hesitate to eat out because most places serve spicy food which does not go well with us.

There are three restaurants located in one line at the same place, and collectively they have everything you want. I am certainly going again to this place, whenever we need food in such emergency.

This post will be part of my google review of this hotel - a little #hive marketing.

My google reviews stopped after they moved the timeline to the mobile device, but again Google reminded me about my contributions and I think, it's a great way to share #hive posts as part of this. Also giving honest reviews helps other people - something we all must do, if we can. Because at times, we only go through those reviews to find if a place is good or not.

If you are getting such delicious and good quality food at a low price, then it is a good thing that poor people will also come here and enjoy their life by eating their favorite food.

So, every region has its own famous dishes, but fast food is almost the same everywhere, and the fast food you see in the picture is very interesting.

Sir, it looks very delicious...
Yes, two biriyanis and kadai mushrooms for only 700 IN ...The rates of this hotel are very low...
Street food should be enjoyed on an occasional basis ...
Enjoy yourself and stay blessed..

Most of the time, finding a suitable food that meet your taste along the street might be difficult but when one eventually finds one, it will be worthwhile

Seafood from a street vendor in the US is a pretty sketchy choice. Unless you are right next to the water I guess. You still don't see it that much. This looks pretty good though!

May be a good idea then to start a new venture ?

Maybe, we have quite a bit of water near where I live, but the seasons probably wouldn't be very conducive for this kind of business. Winter is brutal here.

Streets foods are not really bad most times people are skeptical about (street food) cause of hygiene but , from my own part I feel they try their best in maintaining good hygiene and giving their customers quality food for less price and in great quantity too

Too much hygiene is bad for health.

Greetings friend @sanjeevm, I really also prefer food at home over street food, but hey, from time to time, vary a little and have a whim, which comes in a good way. In your publication, you talk about 700 INR, which I imagine is your fiat currency. How much would it be if we took $ because it seems like a good amount of food to me; that is, very accessible

What I find excellent is that three restaurants are together and they all sell by offering a varied menu with the best food available and at the best price. One question: are you fans of spicy food in your country or will it depend on each person?

Food prices in shopping centers are really expensive. I think there is no need to eat there.

The fish looks delicious. My interest in the menu attracted a fish. I never eaten shrimp.

Street food has its own Power, the truth is that you find jewels made by people with an impressive seasoning, everything looks too exquisite.

Weirdly the link doesn't work for me.. it says Google maps can't open links like this? Odd. Maybe it's a country specific thing. I was interested to see what the review looked like as it's a good idea.

We only ate from places like this in India and thought they were great!!!

No spicy for u?

That's correct, I don't like spicy foods, especially chilli, rest all is ok but in limited quantity. Eating spicy food regularly is not good, and the spice these hotels make is very heavy. We use certain spices at home, but they are more expensive and less damaging, but that won't work for these guys.

I honestly didn't find often street food here in Italy it's not so popular maybe because requires a lot of permission and the rules for selling food are very stricted by the way the streets foods you shared are amazing 😍😍😍 so much choice between meat and typical food so much yumminess 😍🤩

I am amazed at the level of interaction your post is generating. Can you share some secrets with me (Although if you sharing it over the blog it's no longer a secret.) LOl!!!

No matter how good your meal at home tastes, these guys on the street will always do something to bring you to them😀

Definitely we can't beat them in taste, because they use lot of oil and spice, which is not good to use on a regular basis, at least after 40 :)

The food looks colorful especially the fish. I like fried fish but I'm mostly scared to eat it because of health issues. But, normally they deserve better names than to be called Street food.

I am fine to eat once in a while, but we prepare it better at home - healthy though expensive.
