Christmas Celebration at home
This year, there was no celebration in our society, but she did not give up.
Christmas brings in the grand festive mode and the stunning decorations make them more special, which is why kids love and celebrate the festival and we also support their celebration as everything is about happiness. Until last year, there used to be celebrations in our society inviting all kids with a cake cutting ceremony and my daughter played the role of Santa last year. It's all voluntary and since she has lot of interest we bought her the outfit even. Unfortunately, this year they have stopped doing anything and she was disappointed, but she did not give up and put a small decoration inside our house. Assembling the Christmas tree and decorating it patiently shows her patience and we give full support and enjoy it.
The primary reason the celebration has stopped is that most of the kids are grown up and there are fewer kids, whom parents are not taking interest. This indicates that we are growing older, and how time flies, but seeing her having a great heart like a kid is an extra joy - kids are the purest living form of God - they embody innocence, unconditional love, unfiltered joy, and genuine humanity before societal "impurities" set in, teaching us (we adults) about simple happiness, true compassion, and hope, making them a symbol of divinity and the world's potential for goodness.
And not only she decorated the house, but she also prepared some nice cookies for us, presenting it in a beautiful form, reflecting her love and patience. It always feels extra special to eat something special prepared by our kids.

A small but very beautiful decoration from your daughter, a friend. Perhaps it's like they're growing up and aren't as enthusiastic about celebrating Christmas anymore, but even if it's at home with simple arrangements, they don't want to miss out on that feeling that only a few people have.
When you say society, does that mean the neighborhood or building where you live? Over here we use it to mean a much larger group, so I just wanted to make sure. That's too bad they stopped doing it, but I think it is great she showed the initiative and did something herself.
