Don't want to miss the fun even though many recommends stop playing football

There is a saying that age is just a number, it all depends on our mindset and physical well being. With age, it's very easy to loose the mindset, if we do not maintain our physical state. Those who maintain often consider that as the biggest blessing and staying healthy after fifty is the most challenging task, unless you follow a strict discipline.

For me it's a little extra challenging as I switch over places - when I am with the kids at our apartment in the city, I have no place to play football, so I do normal exercise for more than one hour, running around the society, stretching, cycling and kicking the football for some time just to retain that power. Some people in our society even cautioned me to not to run at this age saying it may hurt my knees or back. They think they are doing a good job, but at times it demotivated me, so I consulted a very good Orthopedics doctor who after examining, said it's fine. Prevention is always better than cure, so following his guidance at regular intervals ensures my mental strength - at this age fear is our biggest enemy. In my entire life, he is the only doctor whom I respect like God, because of his high ethical commitment for patient well-being at the age of seventy five. May be I should show him and write a post on him at some point - he is quite an inspiration.

And now meet our team and the ambience - we have players from age 12 to 65 playing for one hour everyday with Monday off.

Surrounded by greenness all around, it's a blissful morning every day to play here, this time the cricket team were playing a match when we arrived but they promised to finish by our time - respect for elders is another big value that sports teaches us.

It was fun to watch their tennis ball match - we still like to play cricket, but unfortunately life does not permit that much time. But you have seen us celebrating an annual event to remember those good times - life was full of fun and free of stress even though we did not have money. Back then I often wondered why people get stressed - now I realize, you understand certain things only after certain age.

He is sixty five but never misses to come to the ground, inspiring us how to beat the age.

Our natural pavilion full of oxygen to watch the sports - that kid broke his hand while playing and taking rest but can't resist coming to the field and watch us play.

By seeing the ambience you can feel how inspiring it is to rush to the field every morning - it's like an adrenaline rush.

And nature gives us bonus at times - we get some natural fresh mushrooms during these rainy days.

Only for those, who know how to identify - never eat a mushroom that you are not sure about.

And we also get a free treatment for nerve related issue - show your palm to these little calf (if possible with some food), their tongue does wonders to cure any nerve related issue, do you know that ? Those are things of past for many.....

And for the first time I took the camera to the field and captured some niche shots, that will be a memoir for life time.

Playing soccer used to be one of my biggest hobbies. But I haven't played in a while, and now I feel too out of shape to play soccer. Maybe if I keep doing cardio, I'll be able to start playing again soon. The reason people are telling you to give up soccer may be the increase in heart attacks in recent years. In the past year, I’ve seen several reports in the news about people having heart attacks on soccer fields in Turkey. This never used to happen before. If you feel fine, I don’t think there will be any problems.

People of different ages come together in the same stadium and play different games, which helps to develop interpersonal relationships. Meanwhile, the way older people play as hard as young people is a good example for those who are lazy.

These life moment can only be enjoyed in small town and cities. The elder generation set up up some level to i spire others to follow . I saw that in my childhood and now again experiencing in the steel city of India. Morning routine with physical workouts and games..who needs gym for building a body. Be natural

That field where they play looks incredible, plus the green vegetation makes it much more striking and they can all have fun together at the same time. They know their limitations and make the game what they want, just for fun.

Friends, greenery and surroundings itself is a great ambience to make us more energetic. Its nice seeing the young and old in the playground. Life after 50 is definitely crucial and it's really motivating to see the steps you are taking to be energetic, after taking suggestion from an Orthopedic.

They say that age is just a number and just because someone is older doesn't mean they shouldn't try. I think it is very important to stay active even if that means that your performance is going to be less than the youngsters. For me, the most annoying thing is that I am much more breakable now but that is just normal... :)

Playing is really good, if feels really engaging and makes you extremely fit, It seems as if you're having a lot of fun. I'm also trying to get into any such activity as my institution is offering some sports activities. That will be really cool.
