I hope you are now fast asleep, darling. You are loved. Never forget that. How do you start to build genuine relationships? You don't overthink it. You just reach out. Just be you. That is all you need to be. You won't connect with everyone... and believe me, you don't want to! You'll hook lots of fish; some will wriggle off the line. Let them. Some will fight you every step of the way. If you have to fight to get them to bite or to keep them, let them go. Invest your time and energy in the friendships that don't demand something of you; the ones that are beautifully reciprocal in energy exchange. When you know, you know.
