Amos 4:6 And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

The provision of God in the above scriptural verse is a testament to the fact that God want us to be with him and detest the devil, but yet, we have decided not to return to him

According to the teaching of Bro. Eli, we were told how God helped the Israelite right from the land of Egypt through the wilderness to the Canaan land with all sort of provisions and protection which was just for them to be with him.

Let's look at the book of Deuteronomy 29:5 And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxed old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.

In the above verse of the scripture, God was telling them how he had brought them out of the land of Egypt and led them in the wilderness for forty years with their clothes not waxed old upon them and their shoes not waxed old upon their feet. This is to show that God always wants us to be with him and that he would do everything to please us so that we can come to him.

Exodus 12:35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:

Also, it's in the decision of God by the word of Moses that God helped the Israelite to find favor in the sight of the Egyptians that they were able to borrow and got all they wanted from them.

However, even in all these, they have refused to return to God thereby turning their face away from him and embracing the devil thereby making evil to persist and reign supreme in the world.
