God created man with affection, but greediness according to Bro. Eli has taken over the affection status of men from then and they are now left with selfishness.
In this world, the hardship being witnessed by the poor was as a result of the greediness of their fellow men who can spend their billions on frivolities and pleasure of this world, but they could not offer any help to the suffering poor around them.
Well, maybe because we are in the perilous time when things have changed and people now love themselves more than those that are around them.
2 Timothy 3:1-4 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
What the above scripture verses are telling us is that, the tribulations we are passing through in this time is as a result of the perilous time that had been foretold would come.
In this perilous time as we have, selfishness and other vices are now the other of the day which is now making tribulations to be prevalent in the world as the rich are only particular about themselves and the poor are only languishing in poverty without them seeing anyone to help them.
In conclusion, the bottom line of everything is that greediness is the major contributor to the tribulations people are now facing.
