What makes me happy
Greetings!

One thing about this life is that it's full of challenges and ups and downs. Life they say would not give you what you best deserve until you strive for the best yourself.
In this life, I have witnessed both the good and the bad sides, I have known when things are going fine and also when things are not smoothly running and I can boldly differentiate between the good side of life which is full of joy, happiness and fulfillment and like the other side, which is the bad side which is all about sadness, mourning and the likes.
However, looking at my life right now, there's one person making me happy and that person is my lovely wife.
Some times ago, when I lost my mum, everything was down for me as she was my only support pillar. At her death, it's as if the world had come to an end and I could fathom how to go about my life, everything back then was cloudy and I couldn't find the bearing of my life.
My mum before her death had promised me heaven on earth and her death really brought my dream and vision to a halt as there's no one to stand for me again.
However, I was able to maneuver my way to getting things done in my own way. Though, it's not something easy for me to do, I had no choice but to just fend for myself and my family.
Aside from this, my love for my late mum cannot be quantified as she was the only one I grew up to know as my supporter and confidant.
So, I lived with this kind of difficult and sorrowful life for years until late last year when I got married to my long time friend. After the death of my mum, my prayer was to get married to someone that would be like her both in character and in all other aspects of her life and thank God for answering me according to his will and according to the desire of my heart.
So, ever since I got married to my lovely wife, I have been enjoying what I have enjoyed since 15 years ago. This lovely wife is like my mother and not only that, she has been making me happy ever since we got married. Indeed, I have really found favour in the sight of God and man for getting married to the angel of my life.
I have never regretted getting married to her and for this, I am happy and the happiness she has brought to me and my life has not left me.
Although we sometimes have issues which is normal, I can say it boldly that I'm highly favoured to have met and married her.
In conclusion, I'm thankful to God for giving happiness to the person of my lovely wife, “Mercy.”
