The hive blockchain and my musical growth

Greetings!

Music is one thing that has been stabilizing people in this current time of depression and frustration. The therapeutic and emotional part of music has really done great to the human race and for this reason, music has and will always be an integral part of human life.

Though, my love for music didn't just start as I have always been a music lover right from my infancy. Then, it's one of my friends who taught me how to listen to music and compose a musical work of mine. Though I have never entered the studio, back then at school, we used to do freestyle things among ourselves. This freestyle used to be in the form of competition and it used to be full of fun.

Aside from this, my love for music made me join the church juvenile choir and this was as a result of me trying to practice what I have learnt from a friend. At times at the church juvenile choir, I used to compose songs and teach the rest of the choir members my composed song. Not only that, my flair for playing musical instruments also endeared me to music.

But it got to a time when all these my passions for music were nosediving. This was actually because of the anxiety of the things going on around me.

So, recently a friend of mine @kingsleyy told me about the hive blockchain. Though, at first, I was reluctant to join the hive community, but later I changed my mind and when I told him I had changed my mind, he invited me to the hive community.

Though, he didn't really tell me much about the music community on the hive blockchain as what he lectured me on was on the general usage of the hive community.

But in one of my explorations on the hive blockchain, I discovered the musical communities that were on the blockchain and ever since the discovery, I have never missed a week without posting on all the music communities on the hive blockchain.

This discovery and my weekly engagement has really done a lot for me in the term of my musical improvement and growth. Like I said earlier, my passion for music was already nosediving before joining the hive blockchain, but ever since I joined the blockchain, I have always been participating in their weekly prompt which has really helped me in developing my musical prowess such as trying to playing some of the musical instruments I have abandoned for long such as, keyboard, guitar, talking drum and so on. Composing my own songs as I have always done before was also resuscitated, listening to other people's musical work both on and off the blockchain and most importantly, engaging other people's musical work when it comes to community engagement on the hive blockchain.

Not only this, I have also been active in the church adult choir. Sometimes, I do go to concerts organized by the musicians or singers just to build and improve on my music life.

All these aforementioned developments and growth are as a result of my joining the hive blockchain. Less I forget, the comment of people who have in one way or the other commented on my post on the afri-inleo initiative and other musical communities on the hive blockchain has really helped me to grow musically.

So, all these developments and growth are courtesy of the various musical communities on the hive blockchain. And to be sincere, I have really gone beyond my past musical experience and knowledge, now I'm really enjoying my musical moments on the hive blockchain while it lasts.
