The call that got me laughed at myself

Greetings!

This life is full of fun at times, when I look back and thing of some of those things I have done maybe to myself or to others, I would not but start laughing and this is because of how funny the thing sounds to me.

However, out of those things that I have so far done that made me laugh at myself, there's this special one which still makes me and would still make me laugh till tomorrow.

On this particular day, when I was to register for something online, I was told that I needed an email address which i didn't have back then, so, I contacted a friend of mine who knew more about opening an email address and he promised to help me open one.

So, after he had promised me help me open an email address, he asked me.to choose a convenient time which I did, he told me that he asked me to choose the time just because I would be called by a computer designated agent who would say the needed confirmation code to me.

So, when the time came, he started opening the email from his own end since we were not together and when it's time for me to confirm the code, I received a call and as the programmed computer was busy telling me the code, I was also busy saying, “Hello! Helloo, Hellooo…” till the session went out.

After the time had expired, my friend called me from his end to ask for the code and I told him that the lady that spoke to me didn't hear me out after I had replied to her. I told him she was just busy talking and it's then that my friend burst into laughter and called me village boy.

So, ever since then, I used to burst into laughter whenever I remembered me talking to a programmed computer agent just for an email code.
