Family is the core of the society. It's the smallest unit but the bedrock of the society. It's the first agent of socialization in which the entire society is built on. Family is the foundation of the society. It's also the nucleus of the society. One thing about family is that it makes up the society in the sense that anything that happens in the society starts from the family. In fact the family is the prototype of the society.

For us to have a better and a saner society, the family which is the bedrock and foundation of the society must be well organized and disciplined. All what we are seeing today in the larger society is the result of what the family has produced. If the society is good and corrupt free, it's the influence of the family, and if it's the other way round, then the family should not be left out.

The family has really played a pivot role in what is happening in the larger society of today. This is because the family is the production to the larger society. The family as a production ground has produced and still producing leaders and even the subject in the society. So, the kind of leaders and subjects or let me followers that we have now come from a family or the other. These set of people are the prototype of the families they represented.

So, the family is the strategic unit of the society and once the family is attacked, then the society is in trouble. And that's why one of the missions of the wicked ones is to attack the family, render them useless and make the society uncomfortable for it inhabitants.

Though, there's challenges facing the family, but one thing that cannot be taking away from.the family is that it's the institution of God and no matter how the family is being attacked, it will surely come out strong. Another thing that makes a family is the bond. The bond the the strong connection among every member of a family. So, this bond is a catalyst that protects the family from any external attack. So, every family have their own peculiar bond that joins them together and this bond protects their oneness.

Going by the popular saying that says, " blood is thicker than water." The blood is another thing that makes the family strong together. There's nothing you can compare to blood when it comes to family. For instance, there's no way and how connected or related to a family that you're are part of the family. It's only by blood that you become the bonafide member of the family. It's the blood that makes one a bonafide member of a family. That's why we have what we call, a biological father, mother and children. So, blood makes one to be a bonafide member of a family.

One other thing that unite a family together is love. Love binds family together. Even the holy scriptures talks about love. So, love is one of the major factors that makes family to exist. A family without love can never exist. But when there's love in a family, then there will be togetherness. No wonder the termite family achieve things together in love. So, love is the main thing that binds family together.

So, for us to have a good family and a better society, the three qualities of a family or better still, the three factors that bind a family together must be well put into consideration. When the family is lagging behind in all these three things, then the larger society will suffer for it as the family is the bedrock of the larger society. Like I said earlier, though the family is the smallest unit of the society, it importance can never be overemphasized and this is because the family is the prototype of the larger society as it produces both the leaders and the followers.

In lieu of this, let's go back to the family structure and make it what it supposed to be, let's build a strong and reliable family structure so as to have a better and saner society, where love will be the centerpiece of the society and where egalitarianism will be the order of the day. Let's all be a good representative of our dear family to the larger society.
