The bitter, sweet experiences

There's certain days in one life that determine the journey of one life. When talking about this days, it might be a very good day, where sweet experiences happen in ones life and otherwise, it might be a sad day when one think the world is over. In a situation of this second scenario, everything looks blurry, even, the hope for the future is lost. So, this two days really determine what a life would be.

Hmmm! Talking of these days, I have really experienced both the sweet days and the bad one. Though, I will be talking about the two days in a short while. To start with, I will be talking about my bad day, a day that I can never forget in my life. Hmmm, the day was the day I lost my mum. It was a very bad and sad day for me. The 23rd of February was a normal day prior to the year 2011. It was like every other day when we woke up and start the activities of the day. Though, my mum was sick prior to the day, but atleast, she was recovering on the hospital bed. Perhaps, maybe we were even told she would be discharged the following day. So we were happy and trying to tidy the home for her to come back. So, when it was evening, we went to the hospital to check on her and we all played together and cracked jokes not knowing that would be the last day to see her. So, we left and my dad decided to stay back and look after her. When we got home and about eleven in the night as we were planning to sleep. We just received a call that her condition has worsened we were how? But it's late already we can go out as the gate to our estate has been locked. So, we were calling and at the same time praying. But everything was all to no avail. Later, we just received a text that we lost her. I and my yo<younger brother with my cousin staying with us cried our eyes out, but our tears could.not resurrected my mum. So, after some weeks, we did the burial and a new chapter that has been shaping my life was opened. The journey since then has not been easy without her presence but we still thank God for there are reasons to do.

Hmmm! When talking of the sweet experiences of mine, I have series of them, but the one I will go for for now was my wedding that took place last December, I know people will be wondering how that supposed to be one of my sweetest experience or day. It was because I got married to the love of my life and ever since I lost my mum, there was no presence of a woman in my life. But getting married to my heartthrob has help to present to me what I have lost. My rare gem. So I was happy to get married to my wife and since then we have been moving forward. Though, it was painful not to see.my mum sitter at my wedding, but all the same, I was happy to have someone to fill her void in my life. Though, it's not as if we don't have our misunderstanding, but we used to settle without any interference. Even tonight, we still had one, but it has been resolved by saying the word sorry.Thanks also go to my immediate family, most especially my dad and my younger brother for standing by me. People promised us to be there for us, but we see nobody. But thank God, I still have my sweet experience and day.
