Peer pressure || MCGI topic review
Greetings!
According to Bro.Eli, friends may come and go, but we need God in our daily lives, meaning that no matter how we cherish our relationship with others they cannot be with us forever, they will one day leave us, it's only God that's needed by us.
According to the teaching of Bro. Eli, peer pressure is a normal thing to the youths or young ones and that's why we should not consider it as a sin.
However the scripture in Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Here in the scripture above, we were being told that we should remember now our creator in the days of our youth while the evil days come not.
So, for us youths we should always know that there would be peer pressure, as our friends may be drawing us to themselves to party with them and do all sorts.
Also, we should not think we are hypocrites if we still find ourselves in church alongside what we do with our friends as it's normal. The only thing that may condemn us is when we go to a church where there's no real word of God, but if we should go to the church where the real and the raw word of God is being taught, then with time we will grow and overcome peer pressure.
