My quarterly scorecard

Greetings!

Coming into the new year 2025 back then was full of great expectations for me as it used to be for every other person. This was the reason I took my time planning ahead of the year even before the end of the previous one. This I did through my new year resolutions which has been my guide since the start of the year four months ago.

Though I came into the new year full of expectations on how to improve on the previous year, but, there's also been challenges that are working against my mapped out plans via my resolutions and my expectations which have not been fully met as proposed by me.

So, the topic before us is a very good topic and this is because, it's all about the assessment of what we have done with our lives so far. Seriously, assessment is a very good tool to measure one's current state with the hope of improving on what has been done and moving forward to a greater future.

Now, back to the topic, to be sincere with us and myself, this first quarter which is the four months out of the 12 months that made up the year have been full of activities for me. Business wise, I have really increased, spiritually I have also added to myself, career wise, I have been able to move forward, even in my relationship with people I'm not where I used to be.

Though, there's challenges here and there towards achieving all those things stated above but by the grace of the Almighty God, I have been able to weather the storm and not only that, with discipline I have been able to overcome them.

Let me start with my assessment of how far I have been able to go in my business world. Last year, my supply business had nothing to go by and this is because the zeal to improve on it was not there for me. I tried my best in reaching out to the engineers on site, but all to no avail, so, I was unable to record the necessary success in my business that last year. Though, this might sound as being lazy, but that's not so.

But while making my plans for this year 2025, I decided to improve on the way to handle my businesses and that plans have really worked wonders so far so good. I now by the grace of God supply almost everyday, not only that, I have also been able to enlarge the coast of my business by adding related businesses to it in this short period of time, I was not into the supply of cement before now, but now I now supply cement, reinforcement is another thing that was missing on my business list, now I supply reinforcement to sites for casting. Also by the grace of God, my next move is to add planks to my supply list.

Also, I have been able to invest the proceeds from all my businesses into buying landed properties as well. Not only that, buying of shares has always been on my mind, now with what is coming as profit from my supplying business, I have been able to also invest in buying shares which is a plus to the series of my investments.

I will also want to talk about my relationship with people. Though, it's not as if I don't relate with people as such, but as for the kind of person I am, I don't like people disturbing their lives. Not until recently did I realize that no one can live to survive alone, but that we need people to be there for us. So for this reason, my perspective about relating with others has changed and Improved. The level of my accommodating people has now tremendously improved.

Also, the impact of hive blockchain has also helped me in the area of my relationships with people most especially, through my engagement with people on the hive blockchain. I now comment on other people's work, upvote them and atimes, we hive blockchain people connect together on WhatsApp and any other social media platforms.

So, the first quarter has been full of activities for me. Though I'm still battling with somethings that are still hindering me from doing or achieving more, such things are procrastination, which I'm gradually overcoming, nonchalant attitude which I'm currently working towards bringing it under my control and so on.

But so far, so good, I have been able to achieve this little in the first quarter of the year through the help of God, and discipline and I believe I can still do better as time goes on. So, if i would be permitted to rate myself over 10, I will give myself 6/10 for the work done so far.

Though I have rated myself 6/10, but even with this, I still have a long way to go. All those things I have been able to achieve in the first quarter was through some changes I have made to how I used to live in the past years, part of which has to do with complacency, then inused to be complacent about my life, but now, I have totally changed that, the most significant change that has transformed and helped me so far is discipline. What's meant by this is that, I tried to discipline myself in all areas of my life and it's really helped me to achieving the little I have achieved. Time management is another change that took place in me and that has really helped me to be time conscious. Gone are the days when time was nothing to me, but now, I make adequate use of my time. So, these are the changes that has taken place in my life and it's really contributed to my little success so far, so good.
