My Musical Template

Greetings!

Skill is a very important and unique thing that needs to be acquired for better performance and growth. This is because, skill enables one to perform a specific task or activity with expertise and efficiency. It brings out the expertise in anyone that takes his or her time to acquire it, maybe through training, practice, education or experience.

This skill to be acquired or that have been acquired will only help those whom have acquired or trying to acquire to achieve a specific goal or objective which will be tantamount to their both their personal and human growth. Though, getting skills is not an easy task, this is because it will take you out of your convenient, but it is better to get or improve on one skill, so, as to meet the demand of the time. For Instance, if a barber or stylist or designer fails to improve on their skill, nobody will come to them. Likewise a musician or instrumentalist, if you fail to get or improve on that your skills, then there's no other way to remain relevant than to be a stale instrumentalist or musician.

Now, back to the afri -inleo prompt of the week, music skill is so important to some one that is into music and this is because it helps to keep us alive and relevant. So, when talking about musical skill, it is a skill that is different from other skill and this is because of the word music that is involved. As we all know that music is life, so, for this reason, acquiring skill for life or for what gives life is very germaine and it should not be joked with. When you say music is life, it is something beyond ordinary as it gives hope and lift down souls. Music is also the food of the spirit and for this reason, it nourishes the soul, spirit and body, it heals the heart and makes one joyful. So, it skills are very needed. Musical skill is the ability to do anything music in an expertise way, such as performance, composing, creative and appreciate anything music. It's all encompassing.

So, going into this year 2025, I have really planned on how to improve on my musical skill and parts of what I have mapped out to improve on includes; learning musical theory, creating time for practice, exploration of different genres of music, learning more instruments, listening and music analysis, voice training and so on. All this and many more are what I have mapped out to improve on this year 2025, and I will be discussing on how to improve on some of them in a short while.

Last year was one of my greatest year in my musical journey and this was because I was able to move steps further and improve on some of my musical lapses that same year. But all what I did last year was not enough as for me, all what I did was like lying a foundation for my musical goal which is a welcome idea. But coming into this new year 2025, I have made up my mind to improve on so many of my musical skills and complete some of what I have started last year.

The first thing and the first skill to be improve on by me this year out of my musical skill is playing of musical instruments. Last year, I tried my best to learn some of the music instrument that were very essential in the order of my musical priorities, such instruments includes, the piano, the saxophone and the trumpet. All these I learned within the last year and it's a big plus to musical career, but to me, it's not enough and this is because I still believe I have along way to go when it comes to my musical journey and I also want to build my expertise across field, so for this reason, I have planned to move two steps further this year by learning and undergoing training on how to play the guitar and the talking drum which I believe after the training, I would be launch into another realm of my musical career. It's a skill I will never take for granted and I will put in all my effort in making it happen.

Another way I have mapped out to improve my musical skills is to listen to more work from musical artistes and after that analyses their musical work, this I believe will help me to improve on my own work too, remember that experience is the best teacher, so, learning from their wealth of experience should be of a great advantage to me and with this, I will be able to do beyond my capacity. It Will be a very good way for me to improve my musical skills.

One other way to improve my music skill is to explore and familiarize myself to the different genres of music, such as the jazz, Fuji, gospel, hip hop and the likes. Exploring and familiarizing myself to these different styles of music will improve me and my music skill in all sides and by so doing, I will move from being a local champion to the real world class champion and it will also be of added advantage to me and my musical career.
Working on my voice is another skill of mine to improve upon this year, though, I have started to work on my voice last year, but this year will be a year to complete and perfect the voice training in have started. It's been a long training, but certainly, it's coming to an end this year and it will be another trophy to my cabinet at end. It will be a plus to my musical career and a huge improve to my musical skill.

Another thing to improve on is music composition, this year, I want to improve on the way I write and compose my songs so as to be more deliverable and acceptable to the listening audience. This I will sure work on and I'm strongly sure that the end will surely just the means when it comes to this. It will be a great increase to my personality and my music.

Time is another thing i will like to improve on this year, when I say time, it means I must create enough time to improve on all what have been said so far. Remember time is money and for me to be able to execute and improve on all I have said, I will have to create more time for my musical practice and maximize the time resource to accommodate my musical career. All what have been said are not easy to be done, like the popular saying that says, " it's easier said than done." That's just it, but with good time management, I believe I can do more than I have planned. So help me God.
