My marital wishes

Greetings!

One of the institutions of God is marriage and in fact, I would say that, marriage is the first institution orchestrated by the Almighty God and since the first marriage in the garden of Eden where God took out from the rib of a man, a woman, marriage has always been in existence ever since then.

So, back to the marriage in the garden of Eden, one would realize that God loves the coming of a man and a woman to become one. Not only that, another thing is that, that's why he has created male and female. This creation of a man and a woman by God is a very deep one and it's even beyond living together alone. The creation of a man and a man to have a relationship or marriage is by no means a mistake, but for helping each other as help meet, procreation and for some other important reason best known for marriage.

Also, it's meant to keep existence in place and not only that, to have a family of one's own. And as we all know, the family is the small unit of the society and for a family to be in place, there must be a marriage which is an institution of God.

So, back to the topic of the prompt which is about the standard of a person that I would want to get married to, or better still, the qualities of a person I would like to spend the rest of the days of my life with.

Without wasting much of our life, marriage is an honorable thing to do or have. But when planning to get into a life relationship with a person, things must be done and examined carefully and what this simply means is that, nothing should be done in a rush while planning marriage, no wonder there's always a room for courtship when it comes to marriage. The reason for this courtship of a thing in a relationship is to know well about one's intended partners.

Having said that, having good qualities is of utmost importance to me when it comes to getting married and as for me, all I would crave for when it comes to marrying someone is good character. No wonder there's a saying in my local language which says, “ a lady lacks good character and she's complaining of not having a husband.” What this simply means is that, where there's a lack of good character, it would be difficult for one to get a good husband or wife.

So, as for me, one of those things I would like to prioritize when it comes to getting married is good character. Though there's also a series of things to be considered by me, all the other things will be built or anchored on the good character of a lady I would love to get married to.

Now, having laid the good character which is expected to be the major quality of a lady I would like to get married to, other things to be considered by me are her neatness. One thing I have always wanted from my supposed partner is for her to be neat and clean. She must be hygienic in her personal life and also in taking care of home.

Also, my type of a lady must be of average height and must be dark in complexion. My reason for choosing this quality in my type of a lady is that she would complement my height as I'm of a tall height. Though, I'm dark in complexion, but I would also prefer her to be dark or chocolate in complexion.

Also, I wouldn't want a full house wife, but a wife that would be creative and productive in whatever she does. My reason for this is that I would love her to perform her role as a help meet in whatever capacity she might have been needed by me or our kids. I'm not saying i would shift the family responsibility on her shoulder, but she must also be a contributing type to the running of the family.

Furthermore, I would also love my partner to be diligent and humble in whatever she does and wherever she might find herself. I would want her to have the fear of God the Almighty in her and most importantly, I would love her to love God, stay committed to the relationship and be obedient to me as I would also reciprocate that to her. Also, I would love to have a discipline partner who will understand me and be my best friend.

I would also want her endowed womanly. You know what I mean by this. I would love her to be romantic and loving and I would love her to be trusted by me. This is because love alone cannot sustain a marriage relationship, but with trust and respect, a relationship would be sustained. But overall, I would want the will of God concerning my marriage to come to pass.
