My life and the many experiences

Like I used to tell the majority of the people that crossed my path, one thing about life is that it doesn't give us what we deserve. Though, some might have had it the way they wanted it in life, but not all had had it the way they wanted. In fact, even those that think they had had it the way they wanted would still have one or two things to tell us about their life experiences.

Recently, a wealthy man in this part of the world, Nigeria, was sharing his experience with others. It's in his words of experience that people got to know that he suffered a lot even to the point of dropping out of school. But now, he's one of the billionaires in the country.

So, what this means is that, no matter who we are, we will surely have one or two things to say about our lives.

Having said this, I would like to share my little experience with us. Some time ago, when I lost my mum, it's like the world was over and I was not even sure of what would become my once bright future.

Although so many people, including the members of our family promised us heaven and earth, but all to no avail, and when I saw that none of them were ready to fulfill their promises, I took it upon myself to strive hard so as to achieve success in life.

So, I left home and traveled to an unknown place where I knew nobody. I was able to work as a laborer by loading and offloading a cement truck on my own just to be able to gather money for my academic pursuit.

But before I started this, I had no strength and power to do this kind of a job, but when the chips were down on me, I couldn't but do the job. Although it wasn't easy, I tried to gather together my strength and made sure I achieved my aim of saving money for my academic pursuit.

However, after I have made and saved the money, one of my co-labourer asked me to lend him part of the money which I did, but when it's time for him to return the money, he fled the place and because I got to know him there, I could not trace him and this brought me back to square one.

But to the glory of God, a friend of my dad who was abroad called my dad at the last minute to ask about my admission and when my dad told him all that had happened, he came to my aid and sponsored my education from the 100l to the final year and that's how I was able to become a graduate.

In conclusion, life experiences are not to be afraid of, rather it only strengthens and prepares us for the task ahead. Experience is the sure best teacher.
