MY HIDDEN TREASURE

Greetings Hive!

One thing about life is that, there's nobody without a potential being it within or without. Potential on the other hand is to me that hiding treasure or virtue that has been deposited in each of what God has created. There's nothing God has created with a hiding potential or virtue. Even the animal have their own potential, also, the plant and the sea are with their own potential not to talk of human which is the embodiment of potentials. Like I said before, there's none without that hidden TREASURE within him or her, but how do we explore, discover or unleash this said potentials? This is a big question poised to us and as for me, I have in recent times discovered how to unleash that thing within me to the world, and it has really helped in impacting people around me.

I have been able to discover several ways on how to bring out and unleash that inhibit potential that has been deposited in me. These ranges from exploration of my environment, connection with people, having deep thought, meeting people, just to mention but a few. But in all these, I will only be sharing one or two that have sparked out the best and the hidden potential in me.

Hmmm! Exploring my immediate environment is one of the ways I have been able to unleash my potentials. This exploration of my environment has helped me to taking action that has benefited me in the time past, and this actions has really launched me to the realm of success. How do I do this?; whenever I'm out, may be to a new place or environment or even working in a new place, I'm always seeing new opportunities which in one way or the other as a minimalist has been of help to me. Let me relate one of my experiences here, there was a time around 2011 that I travelled to a village in my state (Osun state) Nigeria. In that village, there's is this massive production of palm oil and I used to see people buying this oil and putting it for sale afterwards. So, when I got to the village and I saw the opportunity of making money through the same means, I made enquiry from a friend, and he narrated everything about the business to me.This act of exploration really opened my eyes to many things to come and sparked out the business acumen within me. Now I'm into selling of palm oil and very soon ,I'm on the verge of having my own oil palm farm.

Still on the exploration way of bringing out the best in me, there was a time in my area that I visited a concrete pole factory. This is a place where production of poles are done on a daily basis. So, on a particular day, I was at the company and because of my closeness and connection with the manager of the company, I told him I would love to be working as a casual worker. Though the process of their production was not easy, but I was determined to work there and this is because I know I will gain one or two things from there and that this will unleash the potential in me. So, I started working at the company and in the process, I saw a man that used to supply them granite and stone dust for their production. The man has always been their major supplier, always supplying them almost every week and I used to understudy him without him knowing. But on a particular day, I moved close to him and enquire on the rudiments of the business, although he was reluctant to tell me on my first approach but because of my persistence, he related everything to me. So, afterwards, I went to quarries to make further enquiries and that's how I started doing the business of supplying building materials. So, as a minimalist, I always ensure I make use of the opportunity around me through my act of exploration to bring out the best in me, which I have done on many occasions.

Also, my thought as a minimalist has really helped me in bringing out the best in me. In as much, I like exploring my environment and meeting people, I also love my privacy and this has really helped me in having a deep thought on what to do after exploring the opportunities that are lying waste in my environment. So with my deep thought, I have been able to take action that has led to the actualization of those of my inhibit treasures and virtues and this has really spur me to recording success on all front of what I chose to do. Also, my act of writing which I just developed recently came out of my deep thought and the exploration of my environment, with the experiences I have gathered and gain in the past years playing the pivot role.

So, as a minimalist, my connection to my environment through exploration coupled with my connection with people in that environment with deep thought has really helped in bringing out the hidden treasure, virtue and the best in me.
