My choice of legacy

This life as it were is full of mystery and choices.

The reasons for the above statements is that, in life you see people of different backgrounds and status. You see some that are wealthy and famous and on the other side of the coin, you see some that are poor and are nobody in the society. Though, those that are poor and unpopular might have good intention towards living a good legacy behind for themselves and others, but they may actually not have the opportunity and as for those that have the privilege to impact lives and leave the best of legacy behind, they will not even think of doing good or makes life better for other by living a good legacy behind.

Also, as humans, though we are created the same way by God, who said,”let's create man in our own image, after our likeness. "But even at that, our choices differ from one person to the other and this is because of the individual differences in us. Some may choose to live an impactful life and leave behind them a good legacy, while others may decide not to have anything to do with living a purposeful life of leaving a good legacy behind.

But be that as it may, one thing I must say before I proceed on writing is that we must all endeavor to choose the right path as a good name is better than the riches of this word. So, back to the discussion of the topic, one thing I would do for the world to remember as my legacy is to be kind to all. If even for a day, I get the opportunity to be famous, kindness to people around me would be my priority and through this my kindness, I would make sure I build the capacity in humans. This I would do through establishing those who come my way.

One thing I believe in life is that the best legacy to build is making others live a fulfilled life through what God has given to me. So, instead of me building houses and properties, make people fulfill their destinies through my connections and fame.

Doing this will surely bring about prosperity and fulfillment of purpose to the life of the people. This is the best legacy one can leave behind and be remembered for.

Building a lasting legacy is not just about money or having properties alone, it's about building people's lives towards the attainment of their purpose and destiny. Not only that, it's also about helping the helpless in society. There's many people that need help in the society, helping them to achieve their dreams would be my legacy of a lifetime.

We've seen people building houses and wealth as their own legacy, though, it's not as if this is bad, it's a very good thing to build as legacy as well, but the only difference here is that, this kind of a legacy might not live on as it's prone to collapsing or decay, but one legacy that would not decay or collapse is that of our impact and kindness towards people. It's our good impact and influence that would always live on and be passed from generation to generation.

In our lifetime, we've seen people who have with their fame made something out of nothing in the lives of the helpless, they have used both their wealth and connection to raise and build people who would have been of no use to their society. The likes of Moshood Abiola of Nigeria, Kwame nkruma of Ghana, Nelson Mandela of South Africa and many other wealthy and famous people have really made something out of the nothingness of many of their people and this is really living after them even at death.

So, if there's any legacy I would love to see me having in my lifetime and even leave behind and known for after I'm no more, it would be that of kindness through which I would be able to have a good and lasting impact and influence on my people through my fame and connection. So, I would like to follow in the footsteps of the the above mentioned people and help other, living and leaving a life of building people from nothing to something.
