My child as a sacrificial lamb, NO!

Greetings!

Being a sacrificial lamb is not a new thing as we have seen people sacrificing their own personal or that of their children or loved ones for the rest of the world so as for the world to be a peace or better still, so as to safe the world from any plague that might want to destroy the peace and tranquility of the world.

Moreover, even in the scripture, our lord Jesus was sent to the world as a sacrificial lamb for the atonement of our sin, this can be seen in the book of John 3;15.

Like I said earlier, we have seen people being sacrificed for the purpose of bringing peace and tranquility to the world, but to talk about the topic of using my only child as a sacrificial lamb for the world. Well, I would say I would have loved to do that, but because of human nature in me, I may not even think twice to say a very big NO to the request.

Although, it would've been honorable for me to do so, but giving out my only child with the option of not giving birth to another would be a bitter pill for someone like me to swallow and this is because looking at the conception and how I would live with the memory of once having a child with the child no more would always bring regrets to my action and I wouldn't want to do something that I would regret for the rest of my life.

Apart from this, the kind of bond that currently exists between my child and I would not even allow me to do that. Even if a prophet tells me the directive is from God, I would reply to such a person that my God would not do anything to hurt me as God would not do anything bad for me.

So, making my only child a sacrificial lamb because of one scientific discovery wouldn't be possible as I would advise the world and those scientists to look for a way round to solve the problem of the world which they have initiated by themselves to inflict on themselves.

In conclusion, so far I'm human and not God, I would not sacrifice my only child for the atonement of the sin or ailment of the world. It's only Jesus Christ that has been given the right to be a sacrificial lamb and not my one and only child. I would not allow the world to snatch away from me, my only child as I would advise them to go and cure what they have inflicted on themselves.
