Music and fashion have always been together right from the ages and both have gone to complement each other more than anything else. Whenever a music video is played, a new fashion style is introduced. That's how it's always been right from inception.

But, before I went on with my discussion on the two, I would like to talk more about music and fashion.

Music, which according to the dictionary is an art form created by organizing a pitch, rhythm and sounds made using musical instruments and sometimes singing is life and as a result makes the world lively emotionally, mentally and otherwise. This alone about music says it all.

Fashion on the other hand is the style of clothing accessories and beauty products that are popular at a given time. Which means what's trending at a particular point in time.

So, merging the two together, we realize that both are important in human life because of the roles they both play in the development of man. One gives life and the other covers and brings beauty to life. so, what this means is that, both are inseparable as they both complement each other.

Now, back to the business of the prompt which is about the relationship between music and fashion. One thing that's so certain is that there's many things that connect music and fashion together. But the most important one is the influence they both have on one another. The influence of music on fashion cannot be overemphasized and vice versa.

This can be seen in the way music promotes fashion. Whenever there's a new release from any of the musicians, the next thing you see in town is the new trend of fashion as being used or exhibited in the musical video. This is not particular to a genre of music but to all genres. And whatever fashion being introduced by music is well acceptable to everybody around the globe. In fact, music is the best way to advertise the new fashion in vogue.

Aside from this, another thing that has so far strengthened the relationship between both is the way both the singer and the designers with their company have always collaborated in doing things together. Like I said earlier, the best way to advertise fashion and to make it acceptable to all is through music and just. For this reason which is known to the majority and most especially the designers, most of the designers have in one way or the other strengthened the tie between fashion and music. One of the ways they have been doing this is through the sponsorship of some of the musician's musical concerts.

Also, through their collaboration, some of the musicians serve as ambassadors to some of these fashion designing companies and through their various musical brands, they help to advertise and bring out the best fashion as designed by the company. I have seen a picture of a popular singer used on clothes just to improve the sales of the cloth. We also have customized clothes, belts, shorts, shirts, boxers, trousers, just named with the picture of a musician.

Not only this, there's also fashion in musical videos. Music videos in most cases feature stylish and fashionable moments which makes the relationship to be more cordial. Even during cultural festivals that involve music, the traditional attire of the people would be on display just to project their culture and fashion to the world via music.

Even at every event that has to do with fashion, be it a fashion parade or awards, music used to be part of anything that has to do with fashion. Atimes, musicians are called upon to come and light the event, or if not so, their music will be played by the DJs hired for such an occasion

So, the relationships between the two are just more than what we can imagine as both are only meant for each other and one thing about both is that the existing cord between both cannot be broken.
