Music and its healing power
Greetings!

Music is one of those things that makes life and without music, life would not be lively, just think of it, if there's a program maybe in the church or in a gathering and music is absent, such a gathering or church service would be a boring gathering or service. So, this is to tell us the effect of music as a life giving thing.
One other thing I know about music is that it's a food to the soul, body and spirit and what this means is that music nourishes the human soul, spirit and body. So, the world without music would have amounted to a boring world.
Now, therapeutic on the other hand is also of great importance as what music stands for in human life. Therapeutic which is the management or treatment of mental, physical or emotional health conditions has a very great influence on the way each and everyone of us lives our lives.
Now, coming to the topic of the prompt, which has to do with the application of music as a therapeutic tool. One thing I want us to know is that, the impact of music on the individual health being it mental, physical or emotional cannot be overemphasized. Music has always been a very good tool in the treatment of all our health conditions.
So, in the view of this, music and therapy are two things that cannot be separated. For instance, I have seen it on many occasions where music has helped to heal people's mental health. This has even been in existence as far back as in the scripture when king saul was being traumatized by the evil spirit. It's through the playing of harp by the young David that the king got relieved of his frustration and depression. Can you now see the power of music in its therapeutic form?
Sometime ago, when I was depressed, music also came to be the antidote to my depression. This happened when I lost all I had back then, due to wrong investment into a wrong business which I knew nothing about. So, after the loss, I fell into depression as the result of the frustration that accompanied the great loss I recorded via the investment. And the most painful part of it back then was that I had no one to share the burden of my heart with.
But in particular, as my normal daily routine of listening to music was on, I got a word from the lyrics of the song I was listening to and this word was not just ordinary, but a word of healing, a therapeutic word that got my soul healed. So, when I saw this, I was amazed at the healing power music had brought to my soul and that's how I got out of depression.
So, music is a great therapeutic tool that has a great power of various kinds of healing, be it emotional, mental or even physical ailments.

Music is indeed food for the soul. It is a kind of medicated food that knows exactly how to address the issues we are experiencing within.
