Making the street clean : My cleaning activity on the 21st December, 2024
Greetings!
The most disgusting and disturbing thing to me in life is dirtiness. It's something I detest so much and this is because where dirtiness exist, there's always a breakout of disease and sickness. So for this reason, I hate when a particular place or street is dirty. The havoc it caused cannot be overemphasized and that's why atimes, prevention is better than cure.
Dirtiness will always wreck havoc on the lives of those people living in a dirty environment. Its something that should be campaigned against so as not to put the society into chaos as we have seen many atimes.
So, today being Saturday the 21st of December, 2024, waking up in the morning and walking by my street, I saw everywhere dirty with winds blowing and tossing around nylons and papers that are not properly disposed. This sight got me disgusted. So, when I came back in the evening, I went straight into the compound and picked the dustbin to pick all the litters that the wind was blowing in the morning, I did this so as to make the street clean and habitable to us living there. I love a clean environment.
Now, going back into the house and carrying my basket along with me, I dropped all the nylons and papers I have earlier picked into the basket, after which I continued picking all other litters littering the street.
Seriously, it was a mission accomplished. I was happy to seeing my street clean and neat. Now, I can now move round my serene environment. What people don't know is that an unhygienic environment will bring about sickness and death, something that can be prevented before hand coz, prevention is better than cure. Living in a dirty environment can only do one thing and that thing is to wreck havoc through contaminated food and water. So, less I forget, after all the cleaning and picking, I washed my hands just to prevent contamination.
Indeed, cleanliness is next to Godliness. Let's cultivate a habit of cleaning. It saves lives and prevents sickness or death. I love a healthy living.
