Linking the past to the future
Greetings!

One thing about life is that we are all bound to make mistakes which means mistakes are inevitable. However, one thing I have realized over time is that our mistakes come from our past actions and that without the past, there cannot be mistakes.
It's always the existence of our past that brought us the mistake of today and with this, we are now regretting some of our past actions which we believe have been handled in a better way.
Having said this, I would like to share my thoughts about the topic, “the past or future.” As much as I don't like talking about my past and would always lean towards the future, my future is my priority right now.
However, if there's a way I can make my future glorious with my past, then there would be a problem in going back to my future to right the wrongs so as to avoid the same mistakes of the past when something similar might appear to me in the course of my journey in life.
Furthermore, I have heard so many people saying going to their past doesn't really make any difference, but to me, going to my past does not only make a difference to me, but holds the key to unlocking my future opportunities and this is because, if I can have a personal retreat about my past and see where I have got some of my decisions wrong, I know it would really go a long way in helping to shape my future actions which would surely propel me to greatness in life.
When I was in university, I made so many mistakes that are affecting me now, and going for my second degree, I made sure I looked into the things that were wrong in my first degree and I made sure I corrected it going for my second degree.
So, if this measure of going back to the past would solve the problem of the future, then there's no sin in going back to the past, but if going back to the past would make me feel bad or keep on lamenting, then I'd rather focus on my future.
Thanks for reading.
