Invention || the inevitable abuse

Greetings!

If truth be told, the blame as to why things most especially, inventions are being misused should not be put on the inventors but the perpetrators who have turned the primary and good purpose of an invention into a bad one.

Every invention has its purpose and as we all know that, there's always a two side two an invention, the good and the bad sides.

However, the good side of an invention is what's always on the mind of an inventor whenever he proposes to invent a particular one and now if the purpose is good and the user or the perpetrators later turned it into a negative use, why then should we blame the inventor.

Having talked so much about inventors and their inventions plus the purpose of their inventions, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt properly which is all about, “take the blame.”

To me, one thing is that, the inventors have no blame to take having invented their inventions for purpose. Those that to be blamed are the perpetrators who out of mind are taking the bad sides of the invented inventions to their own advantage which on the other way round is affecting the peace of the society.

Imagine the inventor of a gun, one thing I believe is that the inventor has a clear mind of what the purpose of the gun should be which is meant for protection and security of lives against external forces, but now, this purpose which is very good at securing lives and properties has been hijacked to suit the purpose of the perpetrators which is foment troubles in the society.

So, to me, if anybody is to be blamed between the two, the inventors and the perpetrators in the above analysis, then left to me, the perpetrators would be the one to be blamed and this because of the fact that the intention of the inventor for what he has invented is very clear and that's for the protection of lives and properties, but for the bad ones among us, they would always look for a way to use it for the unrest of the society.

A knife which was invented for the purpose of cutting things as a kitchen utensil should be made use for the purpose and not other wise. However, if such is not made use to stab others, how is that the fault of the inventor who invented it to bring ease to our various homes.

Now, if the inventors are to be blame, then these people because of their bad characters would push us to blame God Almighty for giving us somethings which people now use to cause havoc in the society. Is it now the fault of God to give us hands which some people now use to strangulate others. One thing about the hand as created by God is to help us do work or other good things, but some have been using it to do evil which is contrary to God's design.

In conclusion, if there's anyone to be blame, it would be the perpetrator who have made it a point of their duty to make people inventions their own instruments of destruction.
