If i have a vampire friend!

Greetings!

This life is all about relationships and friendship as there's no one that can live or stand on his or her own, which means, we all need someone by our side.

Having said this, the kind of friends we have or associate ourselves with matters a lot as they are the ones who show us to the world who we are. No wonder there's a popular saying which says, “show me your friend and I will tell you who you are.” What this means is that the kind of person we relate with as friends we grossly tell the world who we are.

So, while making friends, we have to choose the right person as it speaks loud and clear about who we are.

Now, back to the topic of the prompt which is about, “a vampire friend,” I would like to tell you what I would do if I get to know that my best friend is a vampire and also belongs to the vampire family.

If I got to tell you that my friend is a vampire, which means he's someone that feeds on blood, the first thing I would do is just to calm down and make a discovery about him and his family by trying to know how true his claims are.

So, if in my finding, I now discovered that he and his family are vampires, I would not bring the relationship to a close at once, but gradually. The reason for this is not gar fetch. The reason is that, if i had not known, I would not be in fear, but for me to know, then I will be suspicious in our friendship and relationship which automatically would affect the relationship and for this reason, I don't see any reason in me still trying to maintain any cordial relationship with him again as he can someday come for me and suck my blood dry.

Although, maybe I would have considered trying to continue the relationship with him if he's only that happened to be a vampire on his family, but for the reason that he belongs to the same family, I would not even think twice in cutting off the relationship but in a gradual process, as I believe that if he's not interested in sucking me dry, his vampire family would one day convince him to come for me.

Also, I would find a way of secretly reporting him and his family to the authorities in the land so as to prevent our land from being destroyed by the ever growing family.

In conclusion, I would try to save my head from being consumed by my vampire friend and his family, but I would not make my backing out of the friendship so obvious so that he would not come for me as soon as he noticed that I'm trying to avoid him or cut off the relationship.
