I want to do God's will but how can I stop doing bad things? Part 2 || MCGI topic review

For us to stop bad things and do the will of God, we need the renewal of the holy spirit in us, also, we need regeneration from God.
As humans we cannot stop doing bad things on our own as our greatest enemy which is the flesh and its lust would not even permit us to stop sinning by ourselves.
James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
The above scriptural verse is a testament to the fact that we humans are being tempted by our own lust and entices which means as humans the lust of the flesh and of the eyes would not allow us to do the will of God.
Jeremiah 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
However, the above scriptural verse is telling us that to be able to do the will of God and forsake the desire and lust of the flesh and that of the eyes, we need God as we can direct our own steps as humans.
Proverbs 16:9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
Also, the book of proverbs above buttresses the point that, it's only God that can help us to do His will and not by our power as we might be willing to do.
In conclusion, we humans have no power of our own to stop doing bad things or to do the will of God, however, we need God to help us to do his will.
