Having a good side

Greetings!

There's no one on this planet earth that has no good and bad sides. Sometimes, we humans refer to our good side as our strength and other times, we refer to our bad side as our weaknesses.

Having said this, I would like to discuss the topic “celebrating the good.” To start with, we humans in most cases talk about the bad sides of others while neglecting the good side which might be the strength of the person in question.

But today, I have come to talk about the good side of myself. Though, people might have said bad things about me, or, I too might have in one way or the other said something bad about myself, but today like I have said earlier, I'm ready to correct the bad notion about me by telling people about my good side.

Although I have many good sides, the better I would like to do is one where I don't prejudice. As for me, I don't judge people by what is said about them and I don't prejudice and with this, I have been able to make friends and build a lasting relationship.

Some time ago, when I got admitted into the university, a guy came to me and spoke badly of another guy who we were allocated into the same room together.

However, immediately he told me this and due to my own nature, I didn't take what the other guy said about this in particular as seriously as what he had told me.

But as time goes on, I got to know that this guy that's being talked ill of is not as bad as he'd been portrayed by the guy who came to me and destroyed him with his word of his mouth.

So, when I got do closed to him, I realized he's a good and nice person who can be trusted with one's life unlike the guy that came to me and talk ill of him, who cannot be relied on due to his bad habits.

So, ever since I got to know the character and the innocence of this great guy, whose name is Ayomide, I decided to move close to him and we became the best of friends.

But in all these, I gave thank to God Almighty and my star for making me to be my kind with the good side of not judging others by what they say about them which is a form of prejudice which is a bad quality to have as a human.

This good quality of mine has helped me in so many ways in building bridges and I will never stop havinvg such good characters.
