Education is never costly

One thing that I have always known about education is that it's light. It's light because it makes us have the knowledge of what we don't know. Which means, once we are in the dark, but now after being educated or let me say, via education, we can now see and get exposed to what is going on around us and that's why I would always believe in the popular saying that says, “If education is costly, try ignorance."

One thing is that we've at one time or the other tried ignorance, but through education and the knowledge we've acquired so far, we now know what's good for us to know.

So, education is never costly no matter what the price and the process may be. Having said that, let me quickly share my experience about the above introduction.

Some time ago, while I was in a particular school, nothing serious was being taught to the students as the teachers were not up and doing as they were supposed to be, maybe because they were not well paid, or maybe they were being owed their wages, that's what I don't know. But all the same, they were not as excited to work as they ought to be.

So, when my parents now realized that my academic performances were nothing to write home about, they decided to change my school and for this reason, they took me to another school which was kind of expensive, but the money wasn't the problem here as those teachers that were on ground in my new school were the direct opposite of where I was coming from.

The teachers in my new school can be referred to as born teachers as their teaching techniques were top notch. So, they know how to teach using the Learners centered teaching method in their teaching and within a term, I became a new person in my academics as I was academically sound more than I was in my formal school.

Although the school fees of my new school are four times higher than that of my previous school, that's not even the issue as what we paid for can be seen through my educational performances.

So, it's then that I believe in the saying that says, “if education is expensive, try ignorance.” so, ever since then, I have always seen education as not as costly as people think.

In conclusion, education can never be costly and we should always go for the best when it comes to education both for ourselves and our wards as knowledge is power.
