Compulsory Medical Checkups: A matter of necessity
Greetings!
Source
One thing that can sustain our wealth is good and sound health and going by the popular saying that says " Health is wealth", one would realise that when there's sound health, then to make and accumulate wealth would not be that difficult. In fact, it will be made simple just because one would be able to do and take the necessary steps to making wealth without the fear of being broken down by sickness or deadly disease.
But, going with the above introduction and illustration, one other thing that we all must put into consideration while trying to manage our health is that, " prevention is better than cure." Yes, prevention is better than cure and for anyone to prevent and defend him or herself from any form.of ailments, medical checkups should be the person's personal priority. Though, I'm not a big fan of medical checkups maybe due to some certain reasons, which include fear of being diagnosed of any kind of ailments, financial burden, stress and a whole lot more, but that doesn't mean I do not know the importance of medical checkups.
So, going by the topic which talks about if medical checkups should be made compulsory for people, well, to me, it would have been the best practice for medical checkups to be made available and compulsory for everyone but in a lenient manner that would have nothing to do with being sentence to jail if not done. It should be made compulsory with soft landing provision put in place to aid those that could not afford it. So, Instead of being imposed on people, I would rather support people being sensitized and encourage to look and cater for their health through medical checkups than being coerced to going for medical checkups with a jail term being attached to those that are found wanting.
Like I said earlier, people are always longing and eager to cater for their health, but for many and obvious reasons best known to them. So many people have not been able to go for medical checkup due to their finances burden which is the major factor that has been hindering people going for medical checkups. One thing that is very sure is that, even if the law is being passed on the compulsory medical checkups and the jail term attached to it without the government making neccessary provisions for a free or subsidized medical checkups, so many people would still not honour or obey the order due to their financial burden and to be sincere, these sets of people would not even care on what steps the government or those in authority would take at the end. So, it's not as if people are not willing to go for medical checkups, In fact, they know the great benefits accrued to it, but due to the financial lapses and other factors, they might not even consider it as something necessary.
Though, the initiative might be good and okay, but imposing it on the citizen who are meant to be the beneficiary would be a wrong decision from the brain behind this great initiative. So, instead of imposition, people should be sensitized and encouraged through the appropriate agencies on the benefits accrued to medical checkups, not only that, the medical checkups should also be free of charge or even subsidized for the benefit of all.

very interesting👍 I agree with the saying that
will not mean anything if we are sick
that's for sure, no one can enjoy this world when they are sick, the place to be sick is in the hospital😁
Yes ooo, thanks for stopping by
Hahaha yes many people fear from doctors because they think that doctors themselves create diseases in them. Well health is everything. Without health life is nothing. It’s health which determines quality life. I guess instead of such strict measures, first priority must be given ti education and availability of facilities
Yes ooo
To keep our lives on track, we need to take our health with all seriousness. A medical checkup is something we must do to make our lives balanced. It would let us know if we have any form of disease in the body. Making it compulsory would be the best option.
That's the simple truth. Thanks for stopping by
