A Life Changing Choice||Weighing the Options

Greetings!

One thing that's certain about life is that every human is bound to make mistakes no matter how careful we are. The mistakes of yesterday are what we are battling with today and if not careful, our mistakes of today will surely define what our tomorrow will look like.

Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of the weekly prompt which is to pick between going back to six years of age or collecting 20 million dollars.

Though, going back to six years is not a bad idea. In fact, it would have been the best opportunity ever for every individual human being as this would really help us right our wrongs with the experiences we have garnered over years.

But, can going back to six years of age solve the puzzle of my life? The answer is a capital NO. Like I used to tell those that are around me, this life will not give us what we deserve as it's full of mysteries. But instead of relenting, we should always strive hard to get what we deserve.

Furthermore, going back to six years old would only amount to us starting all over again and may not even yield the purpose of the opportunity. One thing that I know is that God has always given us the opportunity of a new day.

So, if we cannot make good use of the everyday opportunities given to us by the new day, then there's no point going back to six years.

Going back to six years in this life of uncertainty can be so calamitous to us if care is not taken.

But as for me, if given the life changing options between going back to six years and collecting 20 million dollars, I would go for the second option of collecting the 20 million dollars which I believe would help me to right the wrongs of my past and create a smooth path to my future.

In fact, this generational choice of collecting this said amount of money would open a great door of wealth that going back to six years of age would not be able to open for me. So, I will make sure I put the money into good use by investing wisely.

The first thing I would do with half of the money which is 10 million dollars to buy shares in my name. This buying of shares would be my first investment out of the money and by doing so, I would be able to correct some of my past. In the past, I have not been able to invest wisely, but now with the money, which is 10 million dollars out of 20 million dollars, I would make sure I invest it wisely on shares.

Aside from that, I will also make sure I invest 5 million dollars out of the remaining 10 million dollars on landed property. Though, I have been trying my best to go this route in the past, but lo and behold, I have not been able to do so due to my financial instability. So, once the money is mine, I would make sure I right the wrongs of not investing into properties in the past by investing half of the remaining balance, which is 5 million dollars, into the project.

Also, I will take 3 million dollars out of the remaining 5 million dollars to invest in agricultural businesses. This I would do by investing in both livestock and crop farming. Though, I'm already into it, but I have not been able to do it to the fullest.

Furthermore, I will use the remaining 2 million dollars to cater for my personal and family use. Though, some amount will be used in maintaining the projects before earning from it, but notwithstanding, not all the remaining 2 million dollars will be used in this regard.

So, by opting for the 20 million dollars, I believe I would be able to do what going back to six years of age would do for me and by doing so, create unfinished generational wealth for myself and my generation to come through my various planned and unplanned investments.

This is my entry to the hivereachout weekly prompt.

Thanks for reading.

Each day, new opportunities and 20 million dollars might just be an opportunity to last a lifetime and even beyond — with the right mindset and wisdom.

With the right investment, that amount can change ones life for good. Going back in time is a beautiful choice too, I kind of prefer it because of the opportunity it will give us to make the right choices.

Thanks for sharing
