I know my promise is long overdue as I earlier said I was going to share my experience in a new location. This time it is a short tour within the great University of Ibadan and one of the biggest postgraduate hostels in the University.

Let’s kick off with the main entrance of the University of Ibadan Nigeria. As shown in the picture below the motto is “Recte Sapere Fons” from latin origin and it means “For Knowledge and Sound Judgement.”

I made some videos and took some pictures to give a visual complement and I will also do well to pin the location just so you have an idea of where it is located.

Moving to the main location, the Tafawa Balewa Hall, quite a number of buildings are in the hostel and it is quite spacious as it accommodates Doctors, Postgraduate students and officials of the University.

Looking at the video of the entrance there are several pathways or walkways for easy navigation through the different buildings.

There is a common reading room for students to read and several free spaces to relax. The beautiful, green and serene environment is also very conducive and calm as an environment worthy for anyone who is interested in studying or carrying out any other educational activity, be it research, among others.

It was a short tour but I believe this is a route readers would love to check out. I also took some shots of the reading room, the different elegant building and a short video while I was walking through the hostels.

Without exaggeration, I believe the hall will accommodate nothing less than 400 students. For postgraduate aspirants looking to carry out research and considering accommodation I believe the hall is a good place to consider as one of the neatest with essential amenities.
