REUNION

Hello great people of Hive and my fellow blogger's, welcome to my blog and it's good to have you here with me as we engage, comment, share our experiences, educate each other and have fun, also appreciating the opportunity this platform has provided us to be creative, sharing ideas and meeting like minded people far and near. Talking about meeting people far away, yesterday I was opportuned to meet a friend of mine named Joel whom I haven't seen for a long time,we were very close and he was living around my neighbourhood but they suddenly packed after their dad got a job in another state and that was how we got separated and was not in touch again untill yesterday when I met him at a cyber café and I was very shocked to see him and so was he and neglecting the fact that we were in a cyber café and there were people inside he suddenly screamed my name and started laughing, then he stood up from his chair and hugged me and we laughed together because it has been a long time since he left.

We were overwhelmed with the reunion at that moment that we forgot that we were disturbing others until our attention was called upon by the café owner and we reduced our voice and sat down and then I asked him how he has been doing, what is he up to now and what brought him to town. He said he has been in town for 3 days prior to yesterday to visit his grandparents and see how they were doing and that he came to the cyber café to register for the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) program which is ongoing and that he never wanted going for service this year yet because he has something doing that is giving him money for the time being but he was convinced to go by both his parents and grandparents and that was why he came to the café but he won't stay long in town then he will go back.
We chatted about alot of things as we were in the café and then I told him that since he will be leaving town again very soon, let's have some fun and visit old places that we used to frequent and see some friends which he readily agreed and said immediately we are done from the café we can go. After he was done with his registration and I was done with what brought me to the café,as we were stepping out to go, that was when I noticed he was holding a car key as we approached a White Venza parked not too far away from the café and I was shocked then I asked him if it was his car but he said no it was his mum's car but he do use it occasionally.

Even though I was surprised but I was also excited because it will save us the cost of transportation if we were to move around and visit places that we intend to visit, then I hopped into the car and we left to pick up some friends who were also happy to see him back in town and shocked to see him driving such an expensive and latest car even though it wasn't his personal car. Some of them even joked and said "Omo guy this one wey u don enter town with this kind motor shey u wan pack our babes go abi", they were trying to tease him saying that "with this kind of latest car that he is driving, is he trying to pack the girls in town and go with him" which we all laughed and said definitely no girl will reject him if he approach her to ask her out.

We later went to a video game center to challenge each other because it has been awhile since we were all gathered like that and we played football game which I won all of them but lost to Joel by a goal margin but I did not lose again after subsequent matches. We played for 4 hours straight and enjoyed the thrilling sensation we got from it and then later left to go relax ourselves in an environment where we ordered some drinks and listened to some music. After that Joel drove us and dropped each of us in our respective home's and we got his contact to connect more after he leaves.
The reunion was fun and thrilling making it worthwhile after a long time and also hoping to have Joel in town again.
